I ordered a set of top brakes that were custom made to fit the brackets on my wheelchair that is non-standard. I was charged the same price, as the brakes were on sale, though the brackets were custom made from welded metal plate. Throughout the whole team were in communication and understand the needs of disabled people, it shows that their son is disabled and is involved in the business. They care about the experience of the customer, double checking measurements etc. to ensure accuracy. They helped me with understanding how to fit the brakes to my chair sending emails and videos etc. The brakes work well, I can now go up hills in confidence using my power attachment and have been up some steeper gradients that would have been impossible without the brakes, they have given me more freedom and confidence to tackle off road environments and see wildlife. The brakes themselves take a bit of skill to fit, similar to bike maintenance, just to be aware in case you need some help. Though the brake offers some rolling resistance to the tyre I can still climb hills to the same degree as without (I tested on the same hill). The brakes themselves are well made and the corrugated material around the outside is very robust. I would recommend them. They hold my fat tyres better than my old scissor brakes, the normal brake holds on hills as well as the hill holder function. I recently ordered spare brake parts (April 2023). Arrived with no fuss, part of the order missing, emailed them and they sent them straight out, no quibbles or hassles. They produced a good guide to fitting the part and always respond quickly to any questions I have by email. Great customer service.
