Piljdak is a tall pillar built around 15th century on the crossroads between Brod Moravice, Maklen and Moravička sela. It is visible from high points of these villages as well as from other locations. It is said that a fire would be lit on it's top to warn the villages of incoming threat from Ottoman invaders. Just under it's top there are three small niches, each directed towards one of the villages. They probably contained sculptures of patron saints, yet local folk claim they served as mailboxes for the villagers. It is probable this could also have been a gathering place for announcements etc.
A small info panel telling this is placed just next to the pillar.
I think it's a really remarkable and unique piece of history.
