Really bad school the teachers are very bad and target students to get them in trouble and the principal is even worse she hates almost every child and gives them for little things way to hard consequences teachers are also racist to other students this is an absolute disaster for an school.

I have really bad experience with this school, it’s to strict with everything, the teachers target students, they have very strict dress codes which in my opinion are not that necessary, the lunch is not very good even though you have to pay extra for it. Pathetic

Having a very bad experience with BISL. Chantage, intimidation of children, exaggeration of unimportant situations, endless conversations about punishments, demand for obedience, very poor infrastructure, unprofessionalism of management, in particular the director. Zero dialog with parents, BISL follow the stone age approach. Bulling of innocents is very popular. Very poor lunches (catering instead of normal kitchen and very little area for taking meal). The shortage was of toilets, no playground, no sport facilities. No focus on academic part. Instead administration is focused on promoting more discipline. strictness in wearing a uniform, if you forgot your tie or put on a shirt without a logo - punishment.

Hello my name is Ramona and I wanted to apply my lovely children Stefan and Dylan they are two very bright children with who deserve a good education in the country of Slovenia. The problem that I encountered was that they completely ignored my email and application to enroll my children. Very unprofessional its been nearly 6 months yet I received no reply. Take this review into consideration before applying at the British international school of Ljubljana.

This school is very overrated, and I can say that as a former staff member. There are constant fights and accidents, and the teachers fail at stopping the disruptive students. The school is authoritarian and anyone who does not praise the school's administration gets sent to detention or suspended. the air is very polluted because it is located in an industrial area. The school is also very dirty, and there is a lot of theft (I know many students who's property got stolen and they never got it back) and the school playground is of poor quality and caused many injuries. This school is not worth the big amount of money that they ask for, it is even worse than public schools.

my only complaint about this school is that they don't take students opinion into consideration at all and students get detention for writing helpful reviews like this one i think this is unacceptable.

I cannot recommend this school enough! The staff is amazing, especially the admissions ladies who helped out me when we first moved to Slovenia. Their kindergarten is lovely and my daughter really enjoys the school.

Outstanding teachers, who are highly committed to transfering a passion for learning to students. The school's facilities are great, small groups being in large classrooms, the students have the opportunity to learn in different ways (discussion, practicals, written, group work etc.) and they are encouraged to ask questions during the lessons. My kids are happy here, which is the best thing.

Great school, I specially liked how they help and counsel students at the end of schooling for their university options, choices and paths. I found their individual approach extremely helpful.
