One of the most famous bridges in Ljubljana in summer heavily occupied with tourist groups. Just next by is the huge combined opened and closed grocery market with tons of small restaurants and caffees, bars, etc... One of the few entrance to the mediaval part of the city and the funicular to the castle also in vicinity (100 m away).

Bonito puente escoltado por varios dragones. El dragón es el símbolo de Ljubljana, también llamada ciudad de los dragones. Los dragones son tan importantes en Eslovenia porque se suponía que Jasón, el héroe griego, tenía que llevar un tesoro a su rey. El gran tesoro estaba defendido por un dragón esloveno que vivía escondido en cuevas. La historia cuenta que Jasón venció al dragón, pero los eslovenos piensan que gracias al dragón, el tesoro de sus tierras sigue intacto.
