Žitni most - Grain Bridge - is a footbridge in Ljubljana. It crosses Ljubljanica connecting Petkoškovo Nabrežje (Petkovšek river bank) and Poljanski nasip (Poljane embankment) on both sides of the river. It was open on 24th of August 2010. The bridge has benches on which you can take a res and gather your thought in peace, specially on nice summer, when the bridge is in beautifully arranged lights. Along the northern bank there is a small but convenient parking, because it's practically in the center of the city and not very well known. Only a couple of hundred meters away are much more famous Dragon bridge, Butcher's bridge ant the Triple Bridge in the city center. Those interested in alternative culture can visit Autonomous Rog Factory 200 meters away. Petkovškovo Nabrežje and Trubar road are "littered" with many small shopc, hostels, coffee shops, smal fast and slow food restaurants etc. Go down the Ljubljanica river flow and in 10 minutes you will reach the hospital district, which hopefully you don't need.
