Triple Bridge is probably a top tourist attraction of Ljubljana city center.
The three bridges across Ljubljanica river were not built simultaneously. The central bridge was built in 1842. In 1929, to prevent congestion, the moust famous Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik designed the two foot bridges on both sides of the original bridge. The completed Triple Bridge was opened in 1932.
Now the bridges are in the pedestrians-only zone of Ljubljana.
There's reeally a lot going on on the Prešeren square and banks of Ljubljanica near the triple bridge, specially in the summer during tourist season and during News Year holliday.
