In the same building as the Museum of Slovenian History, I really enjoyed the biological aspect of Slovenia’s history including fossils right up to modern explanation of unique animals like the cave dwelling Olm. It was a quaint but pleasant collection even including an Egyptian mummy

The collection is good but the order of the items is a bit confusing... I think the timeline of events could be better organized or explained. Comparing to museums with the same intention, like the Lódeve in France, there is a clear distinction of what could be improved in this one in Slovenia.

Comprehensive and very informative museum. I'm just disappointed that I didn't have the time to visit it all, and that the section about the history of Slovenia wasn't very complete for the 16th century and onwards

Slovenia has a complex and rich cultural heritage. This museum provides with enough cultural artifacts and accompanying explanations to portray a fair overview of Slovenian culture. What is complex and intricate becomes accessible through the guidance of the curators. They succeeded making history exciting and fun. Loved it.

lovely museum. my friends and i went here to spend some time and ended up staying there for 3 hours. each exhibition was intriguing and i was especially captivated by the national part of the museum. some exhibitions were interactive and we had so much fun. this museum is family friendly and definitely worth visiting.

Il museo offre una sezione dedicata alla storia nazionale e una alla storia naturale. Erano entrambe fatte bene ed interessanti, tuttavia speravo che la prima fosse più incentrata sulla storia slovena invece parlava più della storia in generale, con riferimenti al territorio sloveno. La seconda personalmente mi è piaciuta di più, merita vedere lo scheletro del mammut e della balena.

Muzej kakav i treba da bude, dobro organizovan, interaktivan, dostupan i zanimljiv deci. Za 10 € mogu se posetiti arheološko-istorijski i prirodnjački deo. Sve je dobro obeleženo (posebna pohvala za rimske spomenike). Zatražite audio-guide, imaćete ceo muzej u svom telefonu.
