I had a lovely couple of hours browsing through this museum. Starting at the top level, you work your way down a number of exhibitions and artefacts on display with through provoking reflections to ponder on this journey. I notice the Australian population figures are about 10 million people less than they currently are but I was happy that AUS even had a place in this museum. I learned a lot about Slovenian history, culture and ways of living. There’s also a spectacular display of Chinese and Japanese artefacts on the bottom floor with a rich history behind its precious owners

Very cool, very nice, very interesting! I loved all exhibits about Slovene culture, particularly the paintings illustrate that soooo well.

Really interesting museum but tricky to navigate. We followed their advice: started at the top and worked our way down. But when we followed the arrows on each floor, we seemed to be going against the flow of traffic and the order of exhibits didn’t make sense. Should have started on the lower floors, which had a lot more Slovene history and that’s what we wanted to learn more about. So if that’s your goal, don’t do what we did! Overall it’s a cool museum with tons of amazing artefacts. Well worth a visit.

One of the most thought-provoking museums I’ve ever been to. The curation is excellent and the interpretive signage has been written by a deep-thinking ethnographer/anthropologist. Clearly an intellectual with excellent philosophical interpretations.

Очень интересный музей с богатой экспозицией. Представлены разнообразные предметы быта словенцев от древних времен до наших дней. Есть коллекции, посвящённые жизни и быту других народов планеты. Много интерактивных экранов, некоторые экспонаты можно потрогать или даже примерить. Особенно впечатлили детские игрушки 19-20 веков и традиционные словенские дощечки с рисунками для ульев (panjske končnice).

J'ai payé 3€ en tant qu'étudiant. Sinon 6€ Musée qui pourrait être intéressant pour un slovène, mais pas intéressant pour un étranger qui veut en apprendre plus sur la Slovénie.

2 euro a testa per due piani di mostra. Molto interessante. Non aggiungo altro perché bisogna andare a vederla. Una meraviglia.

Great museum near the train station. Excellent if you have some time left waiting for your train. The exhibitions were quite big and detailed. Spending more than 1 hour here is no problem. Prices are also incredible. 3€ for student ticket and 6€ for a standard ticket. (At least that is the price on a weekday) TL;DR: Great price for what you get Can recommend!

Si parte dal 3° piano con il museo etnografico: si trova una buona parte di reperti di popoli americani, poi si passa a reperti locali, reperti asiatici minoritari. Per BAMBINI ci sono oggetti interessanti per spiegare la vita di una volta. Al 2° p. mostra di arte contemporanea; 1° p. arte e manufatti moderni. Prezzo del biglietto economico.
