Habe am Julian Trail hier übernachtet. War mein bisher beste Unterkunft auf meinem Trail. Grosses Zimmer mit Bad. Alles neu und modern. Als tolles Service habe ich die großzügig ausgestattete Gemeinschaftsküche mit der Möglichkeit auch vor Ort alle notwendigsten Lebensmittel zu Ladenpreisen zu kaufen empfunden. Auch der Gemeinschaftsraum ist sehr ansprechend. Bleibt noch Branko der Gastgeber, ein toller Typ, der sich wirklich fantastisch um seine Gäste kümmert, Daumen hoch! Diese Haus kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

We had a wonderful stay at Branko's place for 9 nights. From the very first contact, we had a good feeling about Branko. He is very considerate and ensures that you have everything you need. When the tailgate of our car broke off, Branko immediately arranged for duct tape. His wife, Danila, makes sure the spaces are kept clean and is also very friendly. As for the accommodation, we had a spacious room with a modern and beautiful bathroom. The shared kitchen is modern and fully equipped. We made frequent use of it, and it felt like home. Parking was free everywhere. If you want to park in the shade, you can do so by taking the road next to the church, crossing the bridge, and parking next to the tree on the right side. From Podbrdo, it's easy to take the train. We used both the passenger train and the car train, which was a very enjoyable experience. I also personally enjoyed driving in the evening from Bohinj Bistrica to Podbrdo, as we saw foxes up close several times—literally right next to our car—as well as other wild animals. You can also meet other people daily in the common area. We talked to people who had taken a long bike ride from Italy and others who had hiked 1000 meters up into the mountains on the Juliana Trail. Besides the social aspect, we also had privacy and enjoyed the peace in Podbrdo. In short, highly recommended!
