The only positive thing about this "hotel" is the location. The Piran House is an old house in the center of Piran. It's absolutely tiny with only very little natural light: the rooms are located left and right of the narrow staircase, which is the heart of the „hotel“. There is no service, reception or any interaction with the owner except for the instructions we received up front (we didn’t even get an answer to our messages per WhatsApp). The common room/kitchen basically consists of a table of four (for the whole "hotel"), a fridge and some basic cooking equipment. There are two bathrooms, which were filthy when we wanted to use them in the evening and the next morning. The terrace at the rooftop is the only room to get some (fresh) air, but still has only one table with four chairs - so again „full“ as soon as another party is sitting there. Rooms are extremely small - still ok for us though given we (travelling with four) had probably the biggest room. Overall, the location was absolutely not worth the money especially when adding the costs for parking (ca. 30€/day). Would not recommend it unless location is key for you.

The location is perfect, the rooms were clean and for our surprise the shared bathrooms were squeaky clean as well. What's more, the roof terrace was rather spectacular too. Could not find any cons in this accommodation. Perfect for a group of friends.

A lovely place to stay in a beautiful location. The room was compact, but the houses in Piran are small. The kitchen is very well equipped, the bathrooms are clean and modern. The roof terrace has great views over the town. Gregor is a very helpful and friendly host.

Le logement était parfait, dernier étage petite chambre agréable avec la terrasse en face (pas une très belle vue mais ça va) les toilettes et douches étaient très bien. Par contre les escaliers grince énormément ce qui est assez dérangeant surtout que la cuisine et sanitaires sont tout en bas. Mais l'emplacement est parfait dans la ville de Piran

Veramente una camera super carina , ci ha conquistato con la sua semplicità ,ma fornita di tutto, il soppalco per i bambini era uno spazio meraviglioso , con la scatola dei giochi che li ha tenuti impegnati per tutto il tempo trascorso in camera , una coccola davvero speciale !!! 😊 Consigliato 🤙

The hostel is very well located. It is only two minutes away from the main place of Piran. My single room was ok ( clean and ready ) But the "window" couldn't be locked wich meant that whenever I wasn't at the hostel anyone could come in. ( A screw driver was used to keep the window from collapsing) (The host has been adviced even though I think they knew so it might be fixed) No host was there for the reception nor for the check out. This meant you have to send your id through text and they even ask you to pay again a tax (which is supposed to be included in your booking price ( I payed it anyway) However, I received all information needed through my reservation plateform. I didn't encounter any problem and had a good stay despite all of that.

Lokacija top, 5 min hoje od vseh glavnih točk središča, v apartmaju vse čisto, lastnik zelo odziven in ustrežljiv. Pustili malo darilce dobrodošlice kar je polepšalo naš večer. Definitivno se vrnemo.

Traditional studio has no windows, the ones you see in the picture are fake. We couldn't stay overnight in the structure and we did not receive any alternative solution or compensation. The host is really unprofessional, he offered us 50 euros to make an excellent review. It's called blackmail.

Super emplacement. Les chambres sont propres et de bonnes tailles. Les espaces communs sont petits mais corrects. Après, votre séjour va dépendre des personnes avec qui vous allez partager le logement. De ce côté là, nous n'avons pas eu de chance. Entre les vas et viens descentes des escaliers bruyants et propreté des toilettes laissés... Malheureusement, vous ne pourrez pas anticiper ce point.

Plusy: Poloha je skvělá. V centru, kousek od pláže, trhů a restaurací. Velkým plusem je terasa, kde se dá posedět a kochat se panoramaty. Dobrý servis s parkováním, k dispozici Wi-Fi. Nejlevnější ubytování v centru turistické lokace... Pro nenáročné. Mínusy: Dům má tři patra, koupelna a záchod je pouze v přízemí. Asi se s tím nedá, vzhledem k dispozici domu, moc dělat, ale komfortní to není. Pokoje, co jsou situovány na druhou stranu od ulice, jsou opravdu miniaturní. Nanejvýš 7 či 8 metrů čtverečních, spí se na palandách, které nevzbuzují úplně důvěru člověka s vahou 80kg. Matrace příliš měkká, ale to je subjektivní. Klimatizace pracuje seč může, ale platné to moc není. Pokoj je nevětratelný, dýchat se v něm nedá, lépe je venku v uličkách. Na přespání ale asi stačí, pokud netrpíte klaustrofobií. Věci si nemáte kam dát. V přízemí se line nepříjemný zápach po kočkách. Nezjistil jsem z čeho, ale jakoby to bylo celé postříkané hordou mrouskajících micek. Je to nepříjemné, protože je to cítít v kuchyni. Celkem dávám 3 hvězdy z pěti za polohu, cenu a atmosféru.

Mi primera recomendación importante es que leas detenidamente los dos mails que te envían los dueños del Hostal cuando realizas la reserva, son extremadamente largos pero fundamentales para el check-in exitoso. El hostal es ideal para jóvenes que viajan con amigos o en pareja. Está bien ubicado, tiene dos duchas y cocina compartida. Buena limpieza. Si visitas Pirano en verano, este hostal está bien para un par de noches mientras pases todo el día en el mar, porque las habitaciones no tienen aire acondicionado o no funciona adecuadamente. Nosotros pudimos dormir mejor la segunda noche porque el propietario muy amablemente nos prestó un ventilador. Las demás personas alojadas en el hotel fueron muy tranquilas y no tuvimos esperas para usar el baño o la cocina. Si vas en tu propio coche debes saber que todas las opciones de estacionamiento en Pirano son pagas y la más económica está a 1,5 kms del hostal, en el mail de bienvenida te explican cómo conseguir un descuento. Al llegar a Pirano podrás ingresar al casco antiguo con tu auto sin costo durante 15 min, descargar tu equipaje, cargarlo 200 metros hasta el hostal y luego llevar el coche al estacionamiento, dejarlo y volver en un bus gratuito. Si viajas con bebés, puede que este lugar no sea adecuado para tí ya que además del equipaje extra que debes cargar, el hostal tiene escaleras empinadas, no tiene sitio para carritos de bebé y las habitaciones son muy calientes. Por último, debes saber que en Eslovenia se paga una tasa de turismo por día y por persona, que no está incluida en el precio que menciona Booking. Si a la tasa de turismo debes sumarle el estacionamiento por día, puedes sorprenderte al final de tu estadía. Espero que mi comentario sea útil para una buena experiencia en Pirano.
