I'm giving this three stars simply to counter the 30 or so german reviews who all clearly do not understand how nuclear reactors work and seemingly would prefer a coal power plant like the one in Velenje (which would certainly harm more people and not run on the same fuek for 30+ years) Also nuclear energy isn't the best but it's not horrible... pretty mid but I respect everyone employed in keeping this plant working and secure

Una fantastica centrale nucleare con tanti misure di sicurezza (che non vedresti nelle centrali a combustibile fossile, nei parchi eolici e pannelli solari), non come alcuni pensano, la centrale si è situata su una falda sismica, ma non importa perché resiste a terremoti, che le case in Italia diventono Sottilette... Spero che possiate costruire più velocemente possibile e con tutte le norme di sicurezza il vostro secondo reattore, così che la Slovenia diventi un paese più indipendente da altri paesi per la propria energia e per il teleriscaldamento. L'Italia e altri paesi al mondo dovrebbero prendervi d'esempio.

Wonderful visit to the non-nuclear section (turbine hall, condensers, cooling towers, BOP) and to the control room and its full scale simulator. This plant produces more than half of Slovenia's clean power and it operates 24/7 💪🏻💪🏻

Strange site. While the powerplant looks squeaky clean, and there is a huge orchard surrounding it (probably the apples glow in the dark) there is a dump site nearby. And the sinister thing about it is that while Slovenia is full of black-and-grey crows, this place is inhabited by ravens. I have never seen ravens in such numbers in Slovenia. Quite a Hitchcock moment ... Locals don't call this place Chernobil (cherno-was), but Chernobo (cherno-about-to-happen).

Che sia d'esempio per la transizione energetica italiana, senza centrali andremo da poche parti, specie se vogliamo mantenere il nostro stile di vita agiato occidentale. W l'energia Nucleare!
