Slotrips was the best company ever! Our hiking route had to be rerouted due to weather and they were on top of it, even available at 6 am! They also refunded us for the portion that we didn’t get to hike. Their planing and communication was perfect and the hike was amazing. Highly suggest using them! 10/10!!

I enjoyed an amazing hike in the Julian Alps in late August. Simona helped me organize all the details and was incredibly helpful right through. The hike was simply amazing…breathtaking, actually. Aljaz was a rock star guide taking us on little side excursions that showcased the beauty of the area. The huts were perfect. The food was great and the beer provided a refreshing end to a good day’s hike. I would absolutely recommend going with Slotrips! A top notch company that will introduce you to a beautiful hiking region. Oh…and don’t forget to take a dip in the lake at the end. A real highlight!

We did the Julian Alps traverse, Self guided. The trip was amazing. The navigation apps that Slotrips provided worked very well. We had no Moments of Doubt. We worked with Domen to customize our trip, adding two days. No sweat. Due to COVID we had to reschedule this trip twice. Slotrips was extremely accommodating. Working with them has been a pleasure.

I had an absolutely brilliant trip with a 3 day hut-to-hut hike, including ascent of Mt Triglav. The hiking was demanding (up to 10 hours per day), but enjoyable with beautiful scenery, fun group of hikers and fantastic guide (Marko) who couldn’t do enough to help us have a safe and enjoyable trip. I hope to return one day!

The best of the Julian Alps hut-to-hut experience was simply extraordinary from start to finish. The days were well planned, and the walking schedule was both fun and challenging, making the most of the beautiful scenery. What made the whole trip special was our guide, Marko, who set a great pace, was extremely knowledgeable about the surrounding area, and clearly very passionate about what Slovenia has to offer, from its biodiversity to the local alpine produce. He was patient and helpful, both technically and in explaining the mapping of trails and the day ahead. Cannot recommend this tour enough if you are seeking an adventure in stunning countryside.

We have just returned from an INCREDIBLE trip in Slovenia organised by Slotrips. We did the Mountains to Sea self guided trip with some additional days and amendments to the itinerary to suit our wishes. The communication and organisation from Slotrips was exceptional from initial enquiry to the end of our trip. All of the accommodation, activities, routes and recommendations were spot on. We felt like we saw the true Slovenia and experienced so much of it in such a short space of time - city, lake, mountains, rivers, valleys, wine region and the coast (also lots of wine and beer tasting not to miss out on!). What we loved was how close everything was to each other - we spent very little time in a vehicle but had so much variety - it felt like five holidays in one! We have never done a self guided trip like this before but thought we would give it a go having previously done a group tour with a guide where you have less freedom to do your own thing at your own pace. We were grateful that everything was organised for us and to such detail, but that we had the freedom to do what we wanted each day to make the trip our own. Our favourite part of Slovenia? Triglav National Park and the Soca River/Valley - the perfect outdoor playground for hiking, cycling, and river sports activities. We would 100% recommend Slovenia, a self guided tour, all of the places we visited and everything we experienced, and would absolutely recommend Slotrips.

Very professional an absolutly great Trip ! We have done a week hut-to-hut. Everything was perfectly organized. Highly recommend the Alpe Adria Trail Adventure: hiking, VTT and rafting. 🥾🚵🛶 We usually plan our own trips but had not enough time this year. Slotrip took away the headache of booking every mountain hut one by one and ensuring you can find food and water on your way through the mountains. Simona is super friendly and if you ask a bit in advance she can arrange little changes to the trip (eg driving to a different end point). They provide you with detailed route information, GPS and some great general info about the countryside and culture through two apps which are easy to work with. We had some great accommodations and people are very friendly and hospitable (but that’s Slovenia for you 🇸🇮❤️).

Croatia mountains and islands is an excellent program organized by the Slotrips agency that operates in Croatia and Slovenia. Small groups, wonderful and truly sophisticated hotels and bed and breakfasts and always with guides who, in addition to doing their job, become friends! If you want to have fun with everything you're entitled to, Slotrips is definitely what you're looking for!😄 I've done Slovenia and Croatia with them and always 6 stars* Carla - Porto Portugal

This was my first hiking experience and I am hooked now! My girlfriend and I did the Soča river hike, it was beautiful, fun and we never felt like we were lost or in danger! I highly recommenr this experience!

We had a really lovely trip to the Julien alps ☺️ Alenka was knowledgeable of the country, terrain and park and very steady in helping guide us through each days hikes and agenda. She was also very flexible - we had a lovely stop in Lake Bled both coming and going. Booking was easy and straightforward. Pickup and dropoff were without difficulties. Simona in the front office was very responsive to all of our questions. We had a great time and would use Slotrips again if we are in the area :)!

I wanted to hike in the mountains in Slovenia, and I found slotrip who put together the most amazing hiking trip. Even though I made the reservation 3 weeks before traveling and it was high season, they made it work. If you want to go on a hike and don't want to do the planning and booking huts, let slotrip do the work for you. A big recommendation from me.

Our experience with Slotrips was great! They were super responsive and helpful during the planning stages of the hike. Simona was our main point of contact, and she gave us very clear detailed information in a timely manner. After encountering a very minor issue at one of the mountain huts, Miha was easy to get in contact with and he immediately called the hut on our behalf to get the issue sorted quickly and easily. The hike itself was incredible- moderate to difficult due to rainstorms. My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our experience.

Slotrips gave us an exceptional 12-day tour custom made for hiking, biking, and unbelievable scenery in a country we have never visited. Slotrips' attention to detail with outstanding guides and coordination were exceptional. Don't pass these guys up, if you plan a visit to Slovenia!!

Starting planning this trip back in 2019.....due to covid and other issues we finally pulled it off in 2024. I knew after going through the planning process with Miha that this would be a special trip and itinerary. Because of this I recruited as many good friends as they could handle in one group, so we had six couples. Everyone loved it and Slovenia shined in all aspects, scenery, friendly people, food, wine, etc. The trip we planned with Miha was for 12 days, which gave us the opportunity to experience all of the different areas of the country, from the Adriatic coast to the wine country in the east,. We did a great combination of both biking and hiking, with many special lunches and other experiences thrown in. The Slotrips guides and drivers were all professional, experienced, and fun to be around. Promiz and Matej our guides on the hiking portion taught us so much about the history of the company, geography and the people. Really hard to find anything to criticize.

We recently returned from our self guided Slotrips tour Mountains to the Sea designed by Katja. Everything went with well oiled precision--all of my questions were addressed promptly and everything was explained fully. Fantastic trip. The Alpe Adria trail was a beautiful way to see another side to Slovenia. Logistics were flawless and allowed us to wander the hills guided but our own leisure with complete surety that all hotel and adventure bookings were fully taken care off. 10/10, a must do!
