Beautiful little bakery. So affordable and so much to choose from! The coffee is cheap too. Definitely recommend. The lady who served us was so lovely and friendly, asking if we were coming back tomorrow (we were leaving that day but we definitely would have!) please pop in if you’re travelling around the area and thank you for your great service!

Bil prvič in lahko rečem le pohvalo. Tako pri ponudbi kot pri nošnji do mize, ker sam ne morem. Imel mešano solato za zajtrk. Njami!!! Pridite, ne bo vam žal.

Great variety of options, most of them gluten free and vegan as well, and quite easily one of the best bakeries in Maribor. Vanja (please forgive me if I'm spelling your name wrong) is doing amazing work at Hiša Kruha. Even though the traditional Slovenian delicacies (usually made in the mountains or during festive season) weren't unavailable, her cookies, one with apricot filling and the other with pumpkin seeds were exquisite, and you'd probably not get them anywhere else. They're known for their Prekmurska Gibanica, a delicate layer cake filled with poppy seeds, apples, cottage cheese, walnuts and more, and protected by the EU as a traditional speciality of Slovenia. Would highly recommend.
