Arrived at lake Bled campsite in late May to be informed they were fully booked but given details of 'Kamp Perun'. The brochure looked enticing with views over the 'artificial' lake a bar and food ..... upon arrival in our motorhome we found a spot that almost hid the Steel Mill from sight but the constant humming sound of it could be heard as could the sound of trains across the lake. The bar wasn't open and food was unavailable .... apparently they only open in July despite the glossy brochure stating otherwise. Fresh water is available for those who enjoy a hike and the chemical toilet is a nothing more than a huge container with with a screw lid in top of which you are supposed to enter the contents ...... no tap to rinse, completely unhygienic. On the plus side the toilets/showers are ok ... all this for just shy of 30 Euros ...... avoid. Oh, and we are seasoned travellers
