The best place to be when near Velenje on a hot sunny summer day! ☺ On the south shore of the Velenje lake there is nice camp, clean and well visited in the summer months. The camp itself has lies on the shore of the lake, and also has a great location near to the Velenje city centre, for easier visit of the city, exploration of the medieval city castle above the town, museum of crystals&stone colection, mining museum, etc. There is also a well visited path all arround the lake, appropriate for relaxing walks, as well as for different sports activities, such as running, bicycle riding, roller skating, etc. The lake itself is among the cleanest in the nearby area. It is safe and you can find differrent fun things to do on the lake - swimming, SUP, kanuing, paddling a boat, windsurfing, diving, etc. There is possibility for watersports activity equioment rental if you didn0t bring your own. ☺
