My parents bought a charger (apparently INCH Home) from sonnen GmbH, which is now defective after 3 years and 6 weeks. So exactly 6 weeks after the warranty expired. The device is still running, as it is still displayed in the home network. However, it is no longer charging our electric car (Tesla Model 3 Long Range). It seems very strange to me that such an error occurs only 6 weeks after the warranty has expired, and that the only feedback from sonnen GmbH support is that you should buy a new charger. Etrel support does not reply at all. I do understand this since my parents bought the charger from sonnen GmbH, but a quick reply how the charger can be fixed or at least a manual on the website would be very helpful. The outside hardware is not defective and the device has always been treated with care. The charger displays the error message "phase lost". I assume there could be a hardware problem with the connection of one of the three phases. Since the error message is not included in any of the documents, you can find on Etrels website, it is very hard for any electrician to fix this problem.
About a month ago, the sonnen GmbH marketing team announced with a comment that customer service would take a closer look at the case. Since then, the customer service team has neither contacted me, nor my parents. Without knowing where the technical problem lies, the customer service team can hardly have taken a closer look at the case. Since they obviously don't put much emphasis on identifying technical problems, they probably don't put much emphasis on fixing them in future product generations by forwarding them to Etrel. There is probably something going wrong with the communication between sonnen GmbH and the OEM Etrel - from whom sonnen GmbH purchases the charging stations.

It seems to be a very big company and they are sending costumer from one to another person and at the end I as a costumer was not the person who would suppose to give the the information that they can repair car charging plug. There must someone who is a "professional" in reporting :) very costumer directed.
