Bellissima villa in un paese unico, camera molto grande con ottimi servizi. Colazione ottima e personale molto gentile e disponibile. Il paese è molto caratteristico, su un isolotto in mezzo al fiume,a cui si accede da due ponti.

Vila Castanea is gehuisvest in een fraai monument en de kamers zijn ruim, schoon en rustig. Nina is een fantastische behulpzame gastvrouw die je thuis laat voelen. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en ik ga zeker nog eens terug!

We were staying in the framework of a study tour to see spring flowers, well before the tourist season. This was the first time that I was staying in Vila Castanea, with our guests through Nature In Colour. The building is looking great and restored beautifully. It offers al comfort which can be expected, including fast WiFi. Nina made us really feel at home, we will be back for sure.

Con un gruppo di amici abbiamo soggiornato durante il weekend dell'Immacolata, presso questo eccezionale Bed and Breakfast, che sembra più cha altro un piccolo hotel di lusso a conduzione familare. La pulizia e il buon gusto degli arredi è la caratteristica principale di questa bella struttura, che nello stesso tempo è anche accogliente e familare. Appena arrivati siamo stati accolti dalla gentilissima Niina (la padrona di casa sempre presente ma con discrezione) che è poi stata sempre presente durante il nostro soggiorno dispensando utili consigli ed indicazioni su come muoverci.||Le camere al nostro arrivo erano ben riscaldate, e comunque si può regolare la temperatura come si vuole. I letti e i cuscini super comodi, abbiamo dormito molto bene.||Il posto è un'ottima base di partenza per chi come noi andava alle terme di Catez o anche in una quarantina di minuti vuole visitare Zagabria.||In definitiva se dovessi tornare in zona non cercherei altro, assolutamente consigliato.

A fantastic place to stay - in a lovely little village on an island on the river. Our host was very kind and friendly and gave us some great recommendations. The room was comfortable, clean and a very good price. Breakfast was excellent, we loved how it was made up almost entirely of locally produced food. Would definitely return and recommend to anyone travelling through southern Slovenia.

Charming, caring, helpful hosts; luxurious accommodation; delicious, rich breakfast with a lot of local specialties; marvelous old house, beautifully renovated with perfect modern infrastructure in a fairy-tale surrounding. Prefect central location and a great starting point for countless unforgettable trips and adventures. All in all perfect!
