Great location. Free public parking around town. The place was recently renewed. Very clean, furnished with style, a great combination of old-meets-new. Breaksfast was great. Not a huge variety of choices but more than enough for short stays.

Sehr schöne und moderne Zimmer. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick in den Garten. Die Unterkunft liegt in Kanal ob Soči direkt hinter der Kirche, deshalb um 6 Uhr ein guter Wecker :) Neben der Unterkunft gibt es eine Bar, die bei Problemen hilft bzw zuständig ist. Das Frühstück wird im Frühstücksraum im Erdgeschoss eingenommen. Sehr überschaubar, aber gut. Waren Abends im ca 5 Gehminuten entfernten Cafe Libero Pizza essen. Das Lokal zwar einfach aber man bekommt sehr gute Pizzen und Bier vom Faß.

We loved our experience at the Soča guesthouse. Stayed for two nights. Had a chance to meet the owner Primož who is very friendly and easy to talk to. His friend Rok, who runs the restaurant just around the corner is extremely helpful as well. The staff is responsive, quick to answer your questions and adapt to different customers. Not to mention friendly. Soča river is very close and nice to swim in, the food is good, the beds are firm but comfortable and the wi-fi is flying. We learnt a lot about the history of the place, and appreciated the nearby Pečno park. We brought our own bikes and cycled to Nova Gorica and back. A worthwhile experience which we will repeat again.

Great place to stay, host was really nice and everything was clean as expected. Breakfast was great as well and location of the guest house is in the middle of Kanal ob Soči which is great starting point for even Goriška Brda or Bovec for example. I recommend this!

Eine gute relativ günstige Pension/Gueshouse. Alles sauber und äußerst fortschrittlich in der Technik. Es gibt Pay TV etc. So was wie smartlock über das Handy an den Türen. Tolle, nette junge Inhaber, samt Personal👍👋 Das Essen ist einfach, aber sehr lecker und frisch. Allerdings sollte man als Gast, unempfindlich gegenüber Kirchengeläut sein, denn man nächtigt direkt am/unterm Turm. Das Geläut schlägt alle 15 min. Ab ca 21 Uhr ist zwar stille aber ab 6 Uhr morgens geht es wieder los, auch Wochenende und Feiertags. Ohropax wäre von Vorteil. Aber alles andere macht es wieder wett!

Gostitelj je super. Ker sem potovala z motorjem nam je sam ponudil prostor v garaži. Soba udobba, domača. Sanitarije čiste - skupna kopalnica in stranišče. Zajtrk super.

Go to Kanal! Stay at Soca Guesthouse! Do it for at least 5 days! Are you planning to stay here just for a night or two? Reschedule your plans :) Soca Guesthouse is passionately run by a talented young team. The guesthouse is very clean and provides for everything you need for a multiple day vacation. A lush garden, roof terrace, comfy reading chairs, a wel equiped modern kitchen and a really nice bathroom with a bath! The nice breakfast is served in the Fontana restaurant where they also make good food with local products. The location is superb, it is in the heart of the medieval town. With the only downside that it is located next to the historic church that enthusiasticly rings her bells at 6am. Within 3 minutes walking you are lying on one of the 3 sandy beaches. These beaches by the river are what we had been looking for in Europe for 3 vacations and we found it here in Kanal! The hostel is also a 5 minutes walk to the train that takes you within 80 minutes to Bled or even better and closer: Bohinj, Most na Soci etc. The town is also well connected with buses. The train (and bus) rides are stunning and really affordable, so it is best to just stay in kanal and do day trips in between the days of sun bathing and swimming :)

Malé izbičky ale na prespatie motorkara na jednu noc je to v poriadku...nie je tam vsak oznacené parkovisko a parkuje sa na ulici pri kostole ...

Guesthouse juste à côté de l'église (les cloches carillonnent joyeusement sauf de 22h à 6h) et du bar (où l'on récupère les clés) où la musique anime une grande partie de la rue jusque tard le soir! Bref, il ne faut pas avoir envie de se reposer !||La chambre est vaste, propre, bien équipée. Détail : les draps ne sont pas repassés.... ceci est vraiment très rare ! Petit déjeuner très correct au bar "musical"voisin. Bon accueil malgré les inconvénients.||Pour autant, un peu déçus pour notre 1ère nuit en Slovénie qui, heureusement, sera la seule un peu difficile du séjour.

Sehr sehr nette Gastgeber. Liebevoll eingerichtetes Apartment. Absoluter Tipp ist die Bar vorm Haus und der Neptun Burger. Alles sehr sauber.
