We have just come back from a 2 week cycling holiday organised by Helia, and it was just fantastic. Great route, excellent hotels and well organised. We wanted to add extra days to make it a full fortnight and had total flexibility when and where we did it, which, other companies struggled with. The last hotel in Piran was awesome. Always good communication and very polite and quick to respond, i cannot recommend highly enough.

amateur hour in lots of respects. the direction book is bang on accurate in some instances and way off track in other instances. bikes are your typical rental bikes. basic and serve the purpose. there trail marking stickers are either non existant or in completely stupid spits. like the inside of a post, or behind a post on the other side of the trail, or at the far end of a intersection so you have to stop and really strain to see. see attached photos. sure with a little common sense you can figure it out but it still was far more stressful than it needed to be.

Great bikes, value and route. We did tour E. Maps and panniers available. It's not all cycle ways so there are sections with cars on the road and there are downhill sections where you pick up speed. Helmets aren't obligatory in Slovenia but they should be strongly recommended, particularly for the route we did.

We recently completed the "Pearls of Slovenia" self-guided bike tour. This was our 12 tour in France, Italy, Austria, Switzerland and Germany, and we enjoyed it the most. The ride provided a great variety of scenery and terrain; every day was different. The profiles were not overly challenging, with the option of a lift to the top of longer climbs, at the start of 2 of the days (which we utilized). The distances covered each day were less than 50 km. The accommodation in mainly family hotels was outstanding. The maps and route descriptions were excellent. The bikes were well serviced and well configured for this style of ride. The staff were friendly, helpful and communicated well. The booking process was efficient. Thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommended.
