Anywhere in the world I've been, a seemingly simple order of "Big Mac with extra pickle" is understood, created and served. Without any drama or a second thought. Everywhere. Or so I thought... until today. Here I asked the server for my favourite McD's staple and, once I explained the translated version he understood perfectly, but said "No, we can't do that". "What?" I exclaimed!! The manager was called over by the server and had the situation explained. Same response from him! This wasn't a difficult request, so I said that every McD's I have ever been to, all over the world, do this without issue, as it's a pretty normal, standard request. No change, standard Big Mac coming right up. Idiots... imbeciles... morons... would not return, and strongly encourage you to go elsewhere if you like to personalise your McD's item(s).
