The restaurant has high ambitions, for sure. The dishes we received were well prepared and tasty, but quite pricey and very small. Would probably recommend to go more for the wine (great wine list) and have some snacks to accompany the wine, rather than go there for dinner. And be aware of the "mountain oyster" dish on the menu - it's a bull's testicle 😂😐

From start to finish we are satisfied with the food, wine, and service. The place is cozy. Super friendly and helpful staff. We asked for recommendations for the tapas and the wine pairing, and it was amazing! The food was excellent, with lots of flavor and texture. Delicious wine!

The place doesn't look good, decoration is bad and fells really updated, BUT Each dish is well prepared and amazing and the service is very good, friendly yet very professional. Recommended!!!

We decited to celebrate our aniversary in TaBar and we found it to be beyond our expectations. The ambience was perfect, the service was really friendly and proffessional. We tried many orange wines that were carefully picked by our waiter and we loved it. We took a 6-course menu, which was amazing, everything we tasted melted in our mouths. Our top three plates were chicken pate with sauce made of teran wine, dandelion rolls with rhubarb and raspberry and finally smoked deer with celery and juniper oil. On top of all we had an honor to meet the head chef and hear the philosophy behind his plates. The restaurant is zero waste and they are offering seasonal food. We will be definitely coming back! Highly recommended.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. Excellent food, quality ingredients, and great wine pairings. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Can't wait to try the dinner menu next time we're in Ljubljana.

Incredible dining experience. The waiter was brilliant, very knowledgeable about the food and also the wine pairings. They were also very accommodating to gluten intolerance.
