Tabar is becoming our favorite restaurant in Ljubljana. Every time we go we have an amazing experience. The plates are creative and very flavorful. This time we took the 5 plates chosen by the chef, who happens to be really friendly, and I must say we discovered some very nice and delicate plates with interesting flavors. Amazingly good quality and the service staff is really warm and welcoming, especially our waiter Rok, he made us feel like home. Restaurants with a baby can be challenging but Rok made us all feel so comfortable, we will definitely be back!

Teden restavracij. Nepozabna izkušnja. Naboljša ocena, lahko smo prišlji s kužkom v notranje prostore. Meni je bil odličen zelo okusen,osebje izjemno prijazno, pripravljeno na hece, kar je znak inteligence vljudnosti. Vsem lastnikom kužkov in dobrojedcem toplo priporočam.🤗😘

Incredibly rude waiter. We got our menus and we were ready to order, but then a different waiter came, who assumed that we wouldn’t order food, therefore we couldn’t order drinks, since they are a restaurant and not a bar. When we made a remark that we, in fact, would like to eat, he said that they were fully booked, even though they already accepted us and the restaurant clearly wasn’t full. When he said that it would be for the best if we would go somewhere else, he proceeded to approach an elderly tourist couple who apparently deserved to be there more than us (?) and treated them with respect… and guess what? they were only ordering drinks!

Wonderful place! The food is incredibly delicious and made with so much love and attention to detail. We loved every single dish. The Service was the best we had in Slovenia and so far it was our best culinary experience here. There is even one more thing that was missing to make the experience even more extraordinary - the bathrooms would definitely need some refurbishing or at least more attention to detail. Apart from that - lovely place!

This Place is a Must visit! Why? Because the Staff knows how to pleasure their guests. Just take the 5 Course tapas, let Them recommend wine and just enjoy the Ambient. Don‘t Expect Football Player like Portions. Expect an experience of delicious, incredible slowenian slow food. This is Beauty on plattes for people, who Think about Food as Important cultural Part of a Country. Also we got an extra Dessert and wine on the house. Awesome!
