I find it really hard to believe, this place has so many good ratings, especially when it comes to friendliness of staff, since our experience was one of the worst of all times. Perhaps it's due to not being foreign customers or just bad moon... but so far, we never had to leave feeling totally humiliated. Location of this don't-want-any-more-customers place is beautiful, as is all the surroundings - it has forest glade and the shadow of spruces, but there are only a few (3-4) wooden desks and benches and one or two plain picnic desks with chairs, and there are a few more covered, but the "nice" owner prefers to chase away already sitted guests as to uncover one of those.. It seems as this place is forced by google search for pizza around Bovec, but be avare, that all the drive toward Casa Monte could be in vain. And, yes, we have read reviews here and followed the advice to make the reservation - so we did try to contact them before our visit, but the published phone number was unavailable all the time. biggest disappointment so far.
