Would really recommend. Only lesser part were the mushroomsauce and meat dumplings. But the goulash and potato-sausage dish and the desserts are the best!!

Giving 5 stars to Druga Violina now makes me reconsider all the 5 stars I've given in the past. Too bad I can't rate this restaurant higher than all the others! I would never have imagined a place like this could exist. Let's start with the menu. If I had to pick 1 word to describe the quality and taste of the dishes, it would be "Marvelous" The price is extremely good considering the quality of the food you're eating. I think I've never visited a capital city's restaurant where 1lt. of water was completely free. The staff was friendly and very helpful when deciding what to eat. We visited Druga Violina 2 of the 3 nights we spent in Ljubljana, and it never fell short of expectation. We ate dinner for 10€ a person (both nights!) leaving the restaurant full and satisfied. This restaurant passes every check with flying colors, in my opinion. Definitely go check it out if you're not sure what restaurant to pick.

El platillo para compartir esloveno es una deliciosa opción. El pollo estaba perfectamente frito y jugoso. La salsa con champiñones muy rica y la salchicha deliciosa. La atención muy buena y amable.

In una settimana in Slovenia non abbiamo mai mangiato così bene. Servizio rapidissimo, e anche la location è perfetta, in una piazzetta nel centro storico. I prezzi sono bassissimi: per un piatto di ravioli e uno di salsiccia con patate, acqua e strudel, abbiamo pagato meno di 10 euro a testa!

Super restaurant. Pour 13 euros et à deux personnes on peu manger le menu du jour qui est non seulement copieu mais en plus très bon. Dans le personnel du restaurant des personnes handicapées sont intégrés au monde professionnel.

Great food. Big potions. Definitely worth the money. Friendly staff and good wine too! The food all came quick and we've enjoyed ourselves a lot here. It's just a great atmosphere inside. The food all seemed to be made by great chefs. This restaurant was recommended to us by our bed and breakfast receptionist and we were not disappointed. Would definitely come again to eat here.

Good location, nice and simple decor, friendly service. Varied menu offering an array of traditional Slovenian dishes. Very affordable prices! We had an early dinner on 09/02/2020. I had sautéed potatoes with Kranjska klobasa (sausage) and my partner had rump steak with fries. My dish was OK - a bit greasy and not a lot of sausage (all sort of chopped and mixed together). I wish I chose something else.... Steak was good though. By the time we finished our meal, we were the only customers left in there and wanted to pay. Waited for some 20-25 minutes and nobody came up to our table, so we just stood up and went to pay at the bar/ counter. Considering the place was not busy at all, they could have paid a bit more attention to the service.... I would still recommend it.
