Abbiamo cenato al Georgie bistrot ieri sera e il cibo era molto buono, le porzioni poco abbondanti ma comunque molto ricercate e succulente! Il menu non offre tantissima scelta perciò consiglio di guardare attentamente il menu su internet! Consiglio il locale se siete di passaggio! 😉

Magnifique restaurant, très bien décoré. Le service est impeccable, l’équipe est très sympathique et de bon conseil. La cuisine y est délicieuse, les produits sont de qualité et les plats très soignés. C’est un excellent rapport qualité prix, bravo au chef et à ses équipes 👏

This was a fantastic way to end our time in Ljubljana. The 3 course lunch was great value and every course was delicious. The service was excellent as well. Highly recommended if you visit Ljubljana. The jota starter and pulled pork were favourites of mine.

Loved the food, quirky and surprising while staying on the right side of wholesome. The ambience felt somehow festive, even though the design is clean and understated. Having the jars with all sorts of ferments displayed behind the bar was pretty cool.

Locale molto bello, giovane, di tendenza ma easy. Perfetti i camerieri pronti a spiegare le pietanze ma non invadenti. Ottima la qualità dei prodotti, così come gli abbinamenti innovativi. Prezzi onestissimi per la qualità globale di cibo e ambiente. Consigliatissimo! Sicuramente torneremo.

We were in the restaurant on 06.12.23. Everything would be fine: very tasty food, wine, service, but when we found a long hair in a plate with salad (it was disgusting) and showed it to the waiter, then of course the salad was replaced, but oh... that's it! The cook who cooked it did not come out to apologize, we were not offered a compliment - this is the level of the MICHELIN Guide restaurant))) The management or senior manager will train the staff how to act in such situations. 12.12.23 I am responding to the owner's comment after my review: We ordered dishes according to the daily menu!!! Therefore, no complement - why are you cheating and answering like that?)) funny

Dear Olga. Thank you for you feedback. Unfortunately this things happen, even though salad goes through washing at least twice, as salad is from farmers market and is not store bought. Anyway we apologize once again, we will be more carefull inspecting it. We understand you felt uncomfortable finding it but please accept our deepest condolences. It is not any health danger so don't be disgusted by it. We feel that there is no need for a simple cook to come out and apologize if you already got an apology and replacement salad from service staff. Furthermore, you got a compliment from our staff as you were not billed for the a la carte dishes that you order but a lunch menu which was significantly cheaper, if you checked your receipt. What an amazing restaurant! The food is truly spectacular (we wholeheartedly recommend the cacio e pepe turnip, the beef cheeks, and the honey ice cream with buckwheat cream!) and the service and ambience are just right; elegant and refined but still laid-back and very welcoming. Certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Ljubljana and we look forward to coming back!

What an amazing place to eat! The food was absolutely delicious, service excellent and wine (we had the cheapest Pinot) extremely quaffable. All Slovenian produce - cooked and presented beautifully. Very reasonably priced for such delicious food.

We enjoyed a lovely 7 course lunch here at Georgie! It started off with an opening of delicious amouse bouches, and the amazing flavours continued throughout the meal. What stood out were the mushroom gnudi, turnip cacio e pepe, the duck, and the gin-fizz pre-dessert. Don’t get me wrong everything else was lovely too! The only comment would be more bread so we could have mopped up the delectable sauces! Our server was lovely too, maybe just a little shy but otherwise very attentive, and well versed with the menu. The cocktail selection seems amazing, although we didn’t try it. The wine card on the other hand is amazing! We enjoyed a Bastardo by Fedora and the Anže Jožef, both great! The atmosphere is quaint, cozy and modern, just the music selection could use some work to fit the theme of the place more. All in all, great experience, would recommend it to anybody, a la carte or a whole menu.
