A very pleasant atmosphere in the tastefully renovated castle atrium. With just as tasty and refined food and a very varied selection of good wines. I recommend!

I have visited Gostilna na Gradu few times, and it was always an excellent experience. From delicious dishes to professional staff. Ambient from a table at the castle courtyard is stunning and romantic.

The staff was very very very rude to us. We were a family of 4 and wanted to eat here. There weren’t many free tables on the terrace but inside the restaurant was empty, we were told they were full. We tried to reserve a table for later and they told us they didn’t take any reservations (there was a table with a “reserved“ sign on it). We came back an hour later when there were 3 free tables on the terrace, people that had just left and we were denied service again because “they were too busy” and to come back after another hour. The waiters were very dismissive and barely looked at us. I wouldn’t recommend this place purely because of how we were treated.

We had reserved a table for several weeks but when arriving we were placed outside with no view and a loud movie disturbing the dinner. One of the waiters were very ignorant but the other one was very kind and helped to find some very good local vines. The food itself peaked with a very delicious tartare but the other dishes were kinda blend. Overall would we not expect this standard for a bib gourmand recommendation. The disappointment therefore also reflect this more rough review.

Fabulous location in the castle, sublime sitting outside in the courtyard, attentive staff, excellent wines, lovely food. A perfect summer lunch.
