A fantastic restaurant that specialises in the local Slovenian pig. We had the charcuterie to start (delicious prosciutto), followed by some of the nicest pork dishes we’ve had for some time. My wife still talks about the potatoes that came with the roast pork and the pork medallions were also excellent. The staff were welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable about the whole menu. A hidden gem this one. Fantastic local wines and spirits too.

Ottimo ristorante davvero consigliato! Cibo buono e molto simile alla cucina italiana, buon vino, e torta tipica davvero gustosa. Il personale è gentile ed educato, la location è molto intima e davvero piccolina.

Great dinner (food, place AND staff!). The opportunity to taste Slovenians dishes in a cosy atmosphere. Food was great, so were the recommendations and the service overall. It's a few minutes off the beaten paths but a worthy choice. Thank you

Excellent local dishes prepared with care. View of the castle from outdoor seating. Nice wine list, try the local Orange wine. The pasta with truffle and the Krškopolje pig carpaccio were exceptional. Friendly wait staff.

This place is a must if you are in Ljubljana. They specialize in pork dishes, but the menu is not limited to this. They have their own farm where they raise the free range pigs. The service is very attentive, but not too much so. I started with the house sparkling white wine and it was very tasty. For a starter I had the liver pate. The pate was as good as mom makes! For the main course I followed the waiter’s suggestion and had the pork roast with potatoes and carrots. The pork was so tender the knife they brought me was not needed. The only part of my dining experience that was not top notch was the espresso... tasted a little burnt. PS. While waiting for my bill one of the waiters started slicing some prosciutto for someone’s appetizer plate. He brought me a taste. It was aged for 2 and a half years! I am somewhat of a snob when it comes to prosciutto due many travels to Italy. This was some of the best prosciutto I have ever had!!!

Everything I tasted in this small and cozy restaurant was amazing. Simple and super tasty. Even if passing by Ljubljana, this place is 5 minutes from the highway, so make sure to visit.

On the expensive side, but the wine and the food is very good. Filet minon was almost blue rare, rather than medium rare, but it was quite tasty.

El menjar és correcte, es menja bé. El servei no m'ha agradat, molt lent (tan per venir a prendre nota com per a portar plats).
