Tourist point of view. Recommended from the owner of the Airbnb we were staying in. The food was amazing, everything we tried, both with recommendations from the waiter and our own choice was very good and served very fast. The waiter with the glasses was super nice, helped with the choice, suggested parings between the food and the beverages. The bread is for free, portions are big. The bill for two people including alcohol and dessert was 50 euros, totally worth it. Also it's in the historical old town so distance by feet to every landmark. Also try the Slovenian dessert - Gibanica. It's like an apple strudel but even better. Highly recommended, would visit again!

One of the best restaurants I've ever been. Well-worth the price of the selections. I ate the grilled octopus and the duck with polenta and cherry sauce as recommended by the waiter, Andrei(?).

One of the nicest places to spend the evening in recent weeks :) If unsure of what to choose go for seabass with truffles :) Totally different and yet has a lot in common when it comes to overall ambience with one and only Cafe du Soleil in Geneva.

This is an excellent restaurant offering both Slovene specialities and a wider choice, with a fine selection of Slovene wines. The food is very well prepared and the portion sizes are good, generous but not gargantuan. Service is attentive but not oppressive and advice is good and helpful. Very popular, I would advise booking.

Ein tolles Restaurant mitten in Ljubljana. Wir konnten ohne Reservierung Platz nehmen und die Bedienung war äußerst nett. Preis Abzug gibt es aufgrund der Preise. Es war schon ziemlich wenig, was man für den Preis bekommen bekommen hat, jedoch hat es sehr gut geschmeckt. Das nächste mal würden wir trotzdem ein anderes der zahlreichen Restaurants in der Stadt probieren.

Primo giorno a Lubiana abbiamo cenato in questo locale , nulla da ridire sul menù il goulash era buono pure i ravioli e la salsiccia locale. Nota dolente il cameriere, poco gentile e strafottente .

Got there at 21:22, place is open till midnight according to their website and Google Maps, but we were told it’s too late for tonight.

Overall experience was great! For your dessert I would recommend the almond chocolate cake.
