We ordered from the "Special Today from Slovenian Kitchen" menu and both selections were delicious. The Teran wine sauce complemented the grilled rumpsteak very well. And the Goulash was hearty with very tender beef. They have a nice selection of Slovenian wines.

Zeer lekker eten voor een zeer goede prijs. We namen het kalfsvlees met asperges en truffel puree en de risotto. Van begin tot einde genoten en een zeer gezellige sfeer. Ook het personeel was enorm vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. Een echte aanrader!

Positiv: - sehr freundliches und bemühtes Personal - schönes Ambiente - Tagliatelle mit Rindfleisch und getrockneten Tomaten sehr empfehlenswert Merkwürdig: Als wir nachmittags einen Tisch für den Abend reservieren wollten, sagte man uns: "Das geht nicht, alles ausreserviert, ihr könnt ja ab 21 Uhr kommen und euer Glück versuchen, aber kommt ja nicht vor 21 Uhr!" Als wir dann gegen 21h da waren, meinte der Chef (?): "Ihr seid zu spät da, ihr hättet früher herkommen sollen!" Nach einiger Diskussion und Wartezeit haben wir dann aber einen Tisch bekommen. Ausbaufähig: Das Gulasch mit Polenta war leider recht fad.

Good selection of Slovenian food, was super popular when we visited and the restaurant had to turn customers away. We had goulash, pork knuckle and ham&mushroom pasta which were all pretty good. Would be keen to return to try other dishes as we couldn't order all of it! Addit: We returned to try more dishes and I think our second meal was even better than our first. We had handmade pasta with cep mushrooms and asparagus, seabass on a bed of vegetables and beef with green pepper. The pasta had a good bite to it and we cleaned everything else off our plates. One of our best meals in Ljubljana

Impossible to eat there if you are short term tourist. They require booking in advance. Menu with price list looks nice, but no opportunity to try. Maybe they shall keep 1-2 tables for people who did not know the place before.

Nice Slovenian food and the place is beautiful. However, it is overpriced and the worst thing is the rude behavior of the staff! When we asked to pay separately, he went mad and started talking in Slovenian (insulting us or something). That's a pity.
