Een heerlijke tussenstop tijdens onze stadswandeling. Een paar lokale wijnen ontdekt en gekocht om mee naar huis te nemen. Absolute aanrader: broodje steak (rund).

We went to hace lunch late in the afternoon while it was raining cats and dogs , even though their tables are usually distributed by pairs they set us up a table for 9. The food was both traditional and tasty , I do recommend the charcutery board , it's worth the price.

On rainy day, we have excellent experience on this place. Manager put us on waitlist, really quickly after 10min we get the table and it was really worth, because the taste of premium plate, steak sandwich and traditional cake was wonderful. We will definitely came back and we recommend this location very much. thanks

One of the popular restaurants along the river by the covered market. We did not have much time so we ordered the minimum: a salad and a half pair of house sausages with horseradish and mustard. The latter didn’t look that appetising but turned out to be very good, especially with the local bread and draft beer. If we had had time, we’d have definitely ordered the other half! The waiter was very friendly despite being under pressure with a full terrace. PS This comment dates from 2022 but for some unknown reason has been Pending ever since.

I cannot tell about the food (that looked really good) because when I asked whether there was a table for 4 I was answered by the waiter with a clipped "it's a busy day". I kindly told him not to worry that I would have patiently waited to be seated. I know well how a busy day is for a waiter. But after standing 15 minutes and above all, later customers took independly seat at 3 tables and were attended I told him and went away. I am a tourist I bring here money, I have kids who just wanted to rest while waiting for food. You just had to tell me take a seat and please be patient. When working with customers kindness (and apologise for wrongs) is an obligation. Nevertheless I hope your experience will be better than mine, a bad day will occur to anyone

We went to Kodila restaurant twice during last week-end, for dinner and for lunch. Everything was perfect. The terrace is very pleasant in summer and we didn't wait each time. The waiters are young and very friendly, we were lucky to have the same waiter who was smiling, kind and helpful. That makes all the difference! The food is fresh and delicious, the price is affordable. I will definitely go back there when I am in Ljubljana. The Kodila restaurant deserves its excellent rating!

Lovely outdoor atmosphere close to the open market. Carefully prepared cheese platter and salad, nice carniolan sausage with homemade horseradish mustard, helpful suggestions on combination/amounts of items to order and drinks to accompany food. Attentive staff, interacting according to what the customers need :)

Take away 3.9 euro. Sit down for the same cake 4.8 euro? They though they‘re in Italy… And very plain boring tastes of the layer cake. Fridged makes it worse.

Wir hatten eine gemischte Platte für 2 mit slowenischen Spezialitäten und prekmurska bestellt. Der Service sprach gut deutsch und die Karte war auch auf deutsch. Vom Ambiente gibt es schönere in Ljubljana.
