Fantastic meal with really helpful and friendly service. We came across this by accident and it’s been my favourite restaurant in Slovenia. I would recommend this as worth a detour.

Even though we weren’t able to pronounce the name of the restaurant, we had an amazing night of delicious wines, fabulous platters and many laughs provided by Erik. He surprised with a mouth-watering local tasting menu culminating with a juicy T-bone with crispy potatoes and vegetables. Definitely a hidden gem in Vipava and worth a visit.

We stumbled across this place around lunchtime and were not disappointed. The service was delightful, the food and wines delicious and the prices very reasonable, especially considering the quality of food and service.

Trovato per caso... Non potevamo capitare in un posto migliore. Un grazioso locale sulla piazza. Location curata anche nei dettagli. Cibo ricercato e molto buono. Il padrone di casa gentilissimo e di una disponibilità esagerata.

Heerlijk 5 gangen diner gegeten. De gastheer is zeer charmant en goed op de hoogte van de gerechten en wijnen. De gerechten zijn zeer smaakvol en afwisselend. Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. 5 gangen voor €55 pp inclusief passende wijnen. Een kleine tip: iets meer sfeerverlichting. Wij hebben een hele gezellige gehad. Een echte aanrader om hier te gaan eten.

En virkelig dejlig resturant værten Erik få dig straks til at føle dig velkommen. Maden er fantastisk uden at være prætentiøs. Ærlig og smagfuldt man bliver glad i låget efter sådan et besøg:))) En super førstegangs oplevelse og helt sikkert ikke den sidste. 🙏

Absolutely wonderful dinner experience. The host was incredible and guided us through the dinner with a set of delicious small dishes. Local cheese and meat plate, pasta with fresh local veggies, elevated regional cream dessert, etc. For wine, he made fantastic choices of great local wines to pair with the food. Would 100% recommend for the delicious food and experience.. Fresh truffle pasta was amazing as were all the homemade and local dishes that were also elevated. Very kind and very reasonable prices as well. ~40€ each for 2 people with 5 dishes, 3 glasses of wine, and a shared dessert

We had a lovely lunch here on a short visit to Vipava. Our food included local cheeses, cold cuts and homemade pasta with pesto, everything was delicious. Our host was very friendly and felt genuinely invested in giving us the best experience.

Heerlijk gegeten met bijpassende wijnen die verrassend en erg lekker waren. Het enthousiasme van de eigenaar werkte aanstekelijk. We hebben een fantastische avond gehad. We komen graag terug!

Superlekker geluncht, écht kwaliteit! Aardige bediening met goede wijnadviezen. Jammer dat we de enige gasten waren tussen de middag, maar het was ook nog voorseizoen. Als we langer in Vipava waren gebleven, waren we zeker nog terug gegaan voor een diner met wijnarrangement. Het restaurant is gezellig ingericht en met mooi weer kan je ook op het terras aan het gezellige dorpsplein van Vipava eten. Zeker doen!

Ein tolles Restaurant, sehr gute Küche, toller Service - hat meine Erwartungen übertroffen. Ich hatte die Vorspeisen Platte mit Schinken und Käse, danach Polenta, dann Gnocchi mit Gulasch und zum Abschluss die Creme-Schnitte. Weitere Gänge wurden angeboten, aber mir war das genug. Ich kann das Krhne aufgrund seines ausgezeichneten Essens absolut empfehlen und werde sicher wieder kommen, wenn ich nochmal in der Nähe bin.
