Nuba on Broadway is a gem that continues to impress! We celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary there, and as always, the experience was fantastic. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, perfect for special occasions. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. We loved the mezze platter, and the staff was attentive and friendly, making us feel truly valued as long-time customers. Nuba has been a favorite of ours for years, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone looking for delicious Middle Eastern cuisine in a lovely setting!

Last Friday I went to Nuba in Kits with my friends and I have to say that for what we paid, the service and the food, was not worth it. The waitress was a bit distracted and forgot about our table a few times. We needed to ask for more pita bread a few times to a different waitress that was helping another large table. When it came the time of payment, it was a complete desaster. They charged 20% tip!! for large group, even though the service was terrible. Regarding the portions, were tiny (in tiny plates) and expensive for what we ate. I have been in Nuba (Mount Pleasant location) several times and the service and food was very different. Not sure what happened with Nuba but not worth it anymore.

The drinks were good, the food was mid. Went with a large group and tried a large variety of the food. Nothing stood out, and some of the dishes were decent at best. Waitress seemed annoyed with our group, and we were not asked about allergies although we have someone with a nut allergy. Wouldn’t return since there are better options for food. It was also slightly overpriced.

My family gathered for a memorial service and we used the semi private dining room. The food was excellent and the staff took such good care of us. Thank you!

I had a good experience when I came here with a group for my birthday. Directions for organizing reservations were a bit confusing, but I was eventually guided towards calling the restaurant and reserving a table. On the day of my reservation, my group and I were seated quickly and the staff gave us plenty of time to inspect the menus and decide what to eat. Service was good, but I got the feeling that the server was a bit annoyed with us. The staff in general were quite accommodating and willing to cater to our requests. The atmosphere was lovely! The interior was quite unique and there was a distinct style that provided us with a lovely ambiance. Finding the bathroom was a bit awkward due to the design, but we eventually found it in the back. The food was good, but some things could be improved. Most of my group ordered lunch plates, and I specifically got the Chicken Shish Tawook lunch plate. There was a good selection of items (including pita bread which is not pictured) and the taste was good. The chicken was unfortunately a bit dry, although that could be masked with the dips. Overall, it was a good experience but there were a few things that could be improved.

Chicken and garlic sauce was delicious. FYI, the rice is literally just unseasoned brown rice but the overall meal was delicious enough to look past it. They gave complimentary pita as well!

Word of mouth had Nuba in Kitsilano as a very good option for Lebanese food. It didn't disappoint. Made a reservation for dinner, glad we did, the place was super busy on a Friday night. Upon entering and confirming our reservation, the hostess there asked us to show our BC Vaccination Card and ID, which shows they are following Provincial protocols to make everyone safe. Once at our table we ordered a round of drinks, while we checked their menu, but our mind was set up based on a previous recommendation: it would be "La Grand Feast", a platter for 2 guests that can be ordered for 3 or more if need be. The platter is a generous serving that comes in 2 plates and includes (copied from their menu), "hummus, baba ghanooj, tabouleh, olives, pickles, feta, fattoush salad, Najib’s Special, roasted potatoes, lamb chops, spiced prawns & chicken skewers", and of course pita bread. The flavours are amazing, rich in spices that add textures and make every item served a delicious experience. Unfortunately, no room for dessert... next time! Service was friendly and attentive, prices reasonable. Definitely recommend!

I liked coming in for dine-in and ordering via Uber Eats or directly in the past. However, take-out portions got so small recently - it doesn’t make sense to order it at all. Their Mezze sample for two people was barely enough for one person (20$ pp). 22.95$ Pasta were just a few pieces of ravioli (not dumplings), in a large takeout container. When I called to ask about this, I was told “we never heard that our portions are too small”. It’s clearly not true based on the reviews. I’ve stopped ordering from Nuba after that although I was a loyal customer before.

My wife and I went to Nuba Kitsilano with a couple of friends for dinner. The restaurant is quite big and has a seating area in the back room too. Our server was friendly. The food was delicious. Being a vegetarian, I always find a good number of options for me at Nuba. The only thing I would have loved more are bigger portions of main dishes. I had to get a side of hummus and pita bread after the main course as the main dish itself wasn't filling. Overall, we would love to go back again.

This place is secretly my favourite restaurant. Great location, and the restaurant itself is beautiful. The staff are also very nice and professional. Great vegetarians options. Highly recommend this fantastic restaurant.
