Our worst meal in Slovenia! Had dinner here on a Sunday evening. They had a 3 course menu which you can take with either fish or meat. For vegetarians no option therefore (strange, also the a la carte had hardly vegetarian options). I took the fish menu and my wife could not take that due to food allergies (nuts, shrimps). Ordered therefore two dishes from the a la carte. My wife wanted the burrata from the menu but we were told that that dish was only in the menu and not separately to be ordered (inflexible). First came 3 greetings from the kitchen, of which my wife could only eat one. No flexibility in the kitchen to make something different for her. How difficult is it to serve e.g. some cured ham. My first dish from the menu was the burrata, but in fact this was mozzarella, which is different. An Italian would kill you if you serve mozzarella when you claim it is burrata. Main dish I had was octopus, which was ok but not very special/good. My wife had a pasta with some fish (3 very small pieces), which was tasteless. She had a few bites but finished after that. How can somebody cook so bad that he is able to ruin a simple pasta dish (which costed €22!). We mentioned this to the waiter who later came back telling us that according to the chef it was an ok dish. Accompanied with the meal we had a mature Rebula of 2014. Taste was ok, but after 60% of the bottle it contained huge amount of sediment. We could not drink the rest. Also here confronted the waiter who had contact with the manager (by phone?). Result was that the bottle of wine was not put on the final bill. Next to us was another table who had serious issues with the quality of the food. My assumption was that on this Sunday the real chef was out and some inexperienced person had to do the job in the kitchen. Of three weeks in Slovenia this was our worst meal!

We understand that you didn't like the food, but that you're thinking about it at the table and then you're still rude and that you're thinking about it in this letter is completely unacceptable! You really ordered a 3-course menu for yourself. We don't know why you think we don't have a vegetarian option because we always do?! If the lady really wanted a 3-course menu, she could also order it and eat it, since the menu does not contain nuts for the warm appetizer, and the guest chooses whether he would prefer prawns or veal sweetbread, so she could say a meat option?! Burrata, which is served on the menu, can of course also be ordered as a la carte, the offer is written on our website as well as in the price list, and in your case it would be even easier for our chefs if we made 2 identical dishes for the starter, why are you lying? ! We send 3 greetings from the kitchen, but they are the same for everyone and, unfortunately, we do not adapt to the individual guest. Your lady could give up her snack and you could eat hers, but unfortunately we don't have any ham in stock. It is true, burrata and mozzarella or stracciatella cheese are not the same dish, but as an Italian you can definitely distinguish burrata from mozzarella and we don't know what to lie about, you got burrata. Each guest can also ask for the packaging to be inspected, so they would show it to you too if you made a comment at the table. As for the octopus itself, I'm sure it's excellent. I have personally traveled all over Italy because I love Italian cuisine, from Bari, Gallipoli, Marsala, Palermo, the whole of Tuscany and I have never eaten better octopus anywhere else. That's why you couldn't write that she was completely lousy. The pasta dish with monkfish and chicken sauce was prepared properly, our head chef would be present in the kitchen and I was kept informed about your table. We believe that there was sufficient quantity of monkfish or just right, and the monkfish is not the only ingredient in the dish either. But we know that the price of the dish that you also mention hurts you the most. Any guest who is not satisfied with a portion of pasta or a main dish can tell the waiter and we will prepare an additional portion at no extra charge. We definitely want to satisfy every guest so that they leave our restaurant satisfied. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the wine either. You ordered a bottle of Ribolla Stanko Radikon, who is considered one of the most extreme orange wine winemakers, and so this Ribolla of his is also extreme with a very long maceration and no filtration, so the wine also has some sediment..., although everything has been told to you, we still replaced the open wine with another one, even though we do not sell wine by the glass and with this gesture we did a minus to our restaurant. Then you chose a fresh ribolla, which you liked, but only drank one glass - you probably already knew when you ordered the first bottle that you would refuse it, otherwise we see no reason why you would order a whole bottle?! Our food quality is at the highest level, we also believe that we prepare dishes that appeal to a wide range of people, but there are always exceptions, such as you and your lady. We are sincerely sorry for the bad experience with us.

Table was available on short notice. Taste of the food was great. Service also. We paid 55 euro per person including drinks and dessert. Bit pricey in my opinion but we enjoyed it a lot

Vers gemaakte pasta's (had wel een iets meer uitgesproken smaak verwacht van de pasta met truffel en kingprawns), goede wijnen (meerdere mogen proeven) op een toplocatie net buiten de drukte van het centrum aan een autoluwe straat

We ate a lovely dinner for two at restaurant Manna. Everything that was served was tasty, especially the appertizers and the chocolate fondant. The friendly waiter gave great service and made us laugh! ⭐️

Ein absolut ausgezeichnetes 3-Gänge-Menü mit einer tollen Empfehlung eines slowenischen Weins. Das Essen war grandios, der Service professionell und auf jede Frage eingehend. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir hatten das 3-Gänge-Menü mit Octopus und dazu eine Flasche Sauvignon Blanc aus Slowenien. Das Essen, und auch der Küchen-Gruß und Abschluss-Schnaps, waren super lecker. Wundervoller, kompetenter und herzlicher Service! Wir durften interessenhalber auch noch anderen slowenischen Wein probieren. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Probablement un mauvais jour. Service peu professionnel ! Erreur de les plats servis malgré le fait qu’on ait répété à plusieurs reprises notre commande. Les plats sont trop copieux au détriment du goût et de l’équilibre des portions légumes / viande. 1 plat sur 4 était vraiment bon. Dommage!

We went for the 5 course chef menu and asked for a wine pairing. They definitely know their food and their wines! Next to the old town, this is a relatively quiet place and perfect to sit outside for your meal. The friendly staff made this a perfect experience. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Had a wonderful time here with my partner, we had chef’s menu fish version there and everything we tried was delicious. Great service, and wine selection too!
