What a fantastic meal. We went on a two week road trip throughout Switzerland, Austria, Northern Italy and Slovenia - and our dinner here was the absolute best meal of the trip hands down. Delicious, home made, in a relaxed atmosphere with a lovely, friendly, efficient service. As we were having three courses my friend and I shared the chocolate mousse - biggest mistake of the evening. If you go - absolutely do NOT share anything. Get it all for yourself, it's worth it.

Wonderful family running restaurant! Try their home-made delicious food (recommend gnocchi and chocolate mousse, also Slovenian red wine from Brda region!). From October till December 2024 they have pop-up little exhibition of Slovenian watercolour illustrator - UriKuri in their lovely ambient. Truly recommend to visit & feel the coziness when you could try local cuisine with a special touch!

The homemade gnocchi with chanterelle mushrooms at Pri Škofu restaurant was a delightful and comforting dish. The accompanying fresh garden salad, with crisp greens and thinly sliced zucchini, offered a refreshing contrast to the creamy gnocchi.

If you look for a local cuisine off the touristic streets then this is your place to go to! We’ve had the most delicious food - octopus salad, cold beetroot soup, seabram w/ potato salad, Buffalo mozzarella salad & a fluffy chocolate mousse as a dessert 🤌🏼 plus the service was excellent 🤍

A hidden treasure. A small and quite restaurant located close to the city centre. Lovely atmoshpere outside, under a broadleaf tree (don't remember exactly what kind was), which provided a nice shadow. The staff was polite and very helpful, explaining all the dishes in every detail. The menu was excellent !!!! If it could be possible, we should have ordered the whole menu !!!! A reservation is absolutely neccesary. 3 days in the city late August, two times there for our main meal. Highly recommended. Don't let the mosquitοes ruin your mood, have a repellent with you.

Gentilezza nel servizio ed ottima cucina! Ci siamo stati due volte durante il nostro week-end a Lubiana. Tutti i piatti provati davvero buonissimi, dalle zuppe agli gnocchi, dalla tartare vegana alle varie verdure. Si sente che chi cucina lo fa con il ❤️. Spero di ritornarci presto 🙏

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp bei einem Besuch in Ljubljana. Das Restaurant ist in einer kleinen Gasse und sieht von außen eher unspektakulär aus. Aber man MUSS dort gegessen haben. Das Essen ist perfekt ! Der Service lässt auch keine Wünsche offen. Für unsere dreijährige Tochter konnten wir absolut problemlos ein Gericht zusammenstellen. Wir haben gleich nochmal reserviert.

The food was delicious and Zara, our server was very helpful in picking out our entrées. The food was fresh, well prepared and excellent. My husband had the pork and couldn't say enough good things about! I had the pasta and chicken and it was perfect! The dessert was outstanding! The mousse was decadent and yet light. And the cranberry was delightful! Highly recommend this quiet, out of the main area restaurant!! Zara is an excellent hostess!

An authentic gem. This place is not on your typical tourist walk in the (often) overcrowded city center but it is worth taking a detour to pay a visit. The menu is short, which is always a plus, but also rationally composed. Meat and fish and homemade pasta were on the list. We took a truffle entree and then salmon and sirloin with truffle as the two main courses... both were delicious and perfectly cooked (sirloin was perfectly mid-rare and juicy). We ended our meal with two mousse au chocolat which were simply remarkable. Service was nice and welcoming. Maybe because of its location it was not overcrowded like the other restaurant we saw in the city center but this one goes to my list whenever I should come back to Ljubjana.

Schade. Hab mich den ganzen Tag ob der guten Bewertungen so gefreut. Und dann war es einfach nur enttäuschend. Geschmacklich unzureichend. Hingeklatscht. Service nett, aber da ich früh da war und kaum Gäste, zu unaufmerksam. Nee, nicht zu empfehlen.
