Excellent food. Service was quite pleasant. Our server, David, was a great resource for our questions about the wines specific to the Country. Of all the restaurant options in the "Old Town" area near the river, this was the most promising that we found, and it delivered. More expensive than some of the other options in the area, but easily justified by the quality.

Friendly service, delicious dishes and good atmosphere. In the evening there are many people without reservation, but there is a solution:) They can put you on a waiting list, you can get drinks at the bar (including local wines) and wait until a table becomes available. We waited only 10 minutes.

Day trip to Ljubljana from Zagreb. Looking for a place to have lunch before city bike tour ride. We like the wooden fixtures and furnitures, typical Central European feeling. Beef soup clear but very good taste, inside with carrot and rich flavour. We also love the beef pasta with super rich creamy truffle sauce. Don’t underestimate it because it is really filling. The mega boss on the menu we went after is the pork ribs, it came with potato. The ribs are soft and tender with fine roasted surface. It is not only about the size but also the taste so great we keep thinking of it. One final note is the octopus and learn salad. The octopus and prawns are still hot smoky on the plate when served together with fresh green and unique eyebrow raising dressing. I hope more people will enjoy as much as I do there.

The best restaurant in Ljubljana. We came here twice during our stay. The service was better than anywhere we’ve ever experienced. The beer was excellent, the wine very high standard too. The ambiance is lovely by the river, under the trees. The food was very nice and very large portions. The hot and cold starters are excellent- my favourite was the abalone carpaccio. Come for an unforgettable experience. Recommend booking in advance but you may also be fit in if you arrive early. Treat the waiting staff with the dignity and respect they deserve and you will be receive exceptional customer service. Very highly recommend!

The food was very good. Only the beef carpaccio was quite bland and empty, the serving was small. Black Angus steak was excellent with smooth nice flavors. The apple pie was served warm with phenomenal ice cream. Unfortunately the umbrella holding system is flawed, we had our umbrella stolen while it was raining hard. The staff is very friendly and speaks many languages.

We arrived in Ljubljana around 4pm and it was a perfect time to check out some local cuisine places. My wife picked this place up on google maps as a good rated places for food and service and, most importantly, they had local dishes. Service was simply amazing, the atmosphere perfect (city center but still very quiet) and prices are very affordable: two main courses, soup, salad, four drinks (wine and beer) totaled to 43 euros.
