I received the recommendation from my free walking tour guide as a great place to try Slovenian food And he was damn right I had the chance to eat there twice in order to give a chance for different meal The food was really tasty and fresh. Also the fresh bread and butter is nich add to the meal as also the olive oil and the oil from pumpkin seeds in each table. The staff was friendly and provide suggestions what to eat or try. It is also a nice place to sit for a coffee and something sweet.

Totally belligerent waiters. Did not have a system to manage seating. Refused to let us sit inside, but would not manage the queue/take bookings for outside seating. I understand they may have been short staffed and did not want to overwhelm the kitchen, but by managing the queue they could have made us feel welcome and want to stick around for the table. They acted like we were a nuisance not future business.

We didn’t have the chance to eat here, so I don’t know how is the food. But the service and the hostess were very dismissive and they didn’t even put us in a wait list. Understaffed and very rude experience.

This is small restaurant with both inside and outside eating. The food is excellent and typical traditional dishes at an excellent cost. The only negative thing is that they prefer seating locals then allowing tourists to eat there so you have to insist and wait even if they tell you the wait is an hour, not so. Don't give up be persistent like we were. They also have excellent expresso Italian coffe 😊

Even we arrived late, they were helpful and served us with food. The meal was delicious and decent portion. Service was also nice.

Wir hatten auf gute slowenische Küche gehofft! Leider war das was wir bekamen, alles andere als gut. Viel zu fettig und das preisleistungsverhältnis stimmte auch nicht. Freundlicherweise wurde uns gleich zu Anfang Brot mit einer kräuter Butter hingestellt. Auf der Rechnung standen dann 3,60€ pro Person! Fanden wir schon frech
