Interesting place to taste traditional Slovenian food. Service was rather slow. Bograc was a disappointment - it was not seasoned and dull. Sausages were meh. Gibanica was good. Rather pricey.

My friend and I visited the city in March. Our waiter was really nice and thoughtful! The food was great and the prices were fair. My friend and I are glad that we decided to spend our only evening here.

MUST TRY! First of all I don’t have pictures for this place because everything was so good that nobody paused to take them 😂 The service is absolutely friendly, the home bread is warm and it welcomes you while food gets ordered and prepared. Everything was tasting great, the rib-eye especially was soft and tasty, nice the draft beer as well. The only problem here is to find a free table.

I had a lovely time having dinner at this restaurant. All dishes that I tried here were just absolutely amazing, especially StrukIji. The price-quality ratio is excellent, so the tables are generally reserved three days in advance, consider this when booking. Service time is usually average due to the fullness of the establishment. The waiters are people at all and can’t handle everybody at one time, but they were polite and friendly enough. If you’re searching for where to taste traditional Slovenian cuisine this restaurant is one of the best.

Das Essen war köstlich und der Service zwar freundlich. Der Kellner musste aber leider zum Arbeiten getragen werden. Wir saßen nach der Vorspeise etwa 20 Minuten ohne Nachfrage auf dem Trockenen.

Ein modernes hippes Ambiente. Flotte, freundliche Kellnerin. Vorspeise war lecker, die Hauptspeisen waren gut, aber nichts Besonderes. Das eine war ein geb. 🐖 schnitzel mit einer Scheibe Schinken und eine Art Mozzarella darauf, mit ein paar Kartoffeln, leider war der Teller kalt und auch die Kartoffeln lauwarm, das andere waren wie Tortelloni mir einer Art Gulasch serviert. Wir waren auf Empfehlung des City Hotels hier essen .Offener Wein + Bier waren sehr gut.

A great place to taste traditional slovenian cuisine. Do not miss the dumplings with veal and mushrooms!!! The cured meats board is ideal to share as a starter. It is served with fresh bread and butter, delicious with a cold beer. Service is nice, but the second dinner service (at 8pm) is very slow as some of the wait staff has left. Don't expect to get a table without booking.

Das Essen ist gut, die Bedienung sehr freundlich, die Portionen sind tatsächlich riesig (wirklich!), und man sitzt sehr schön im Freien. Die Umgebung ist nicht besonders romantisch, aber immerhin relativ ruhig. Ich habe mich gefreut, viele traditionelle Gerichte aus anderen Regionen Sloweniens auf der Karte zu entdecken. Das Gulasch zur Vorspeise war super!

We stopped by in the afternoon and were told they don’t do reservations so we asked if we would have a problem if we returned around 8 o’clock, we were assured that would not be an issue since there was nice weather. We arrived again at 8 o’clock to a pretty busy restaurant and were completely turned away. We were told they “could not accommodate us.” There were plenty of open tables and since they don’t take reservations, I don’t understand why they could not seat us. We also weren’t given an option to wait until a table opened up. It was very obvious they just simply did not want to serve us.

菜式精緻, 配合擺盤令人吸引, 我食Pan fried veal liver with onions and a side dish, liver配合洋蔥汁很配合, 洋蔥加薯仔煮得很軟, 味道超級好味。加上温暖的餐前麵包配蒜蓉醬, 以及一杯Union točeno非常滿足。餐廳裝潢有點心思, 如牆上的藝術裝置。

Amazing traditional slovenian restaurant,with friendly waiters. Not too far from centre. If you only stay for one day it could be a good option!
