Un des rares restaurants de Ljubljana qui propose des plats locaux. Il y a du choix pour tous les goûts des entrées aux desserts. Tellement bon que j'y suis retourné une seconde fois. Il faut absolument réserver pour être sûr d'avoir une table (2 jours à l avance au mois de mai).

The service of the food is very slow if it is full. I got cold plate, I was waiting long, as in many bars and restaurants in Ljubljana.

We kregen dit op aanraden van ons verblijf. Echter meer dan 10 min staan wachten zonder 1 blik of 1 woord uitleg of we een plaats konden krijgen. We waren lang niet de enige die stonden te wachten. De mensen voor ons stonden er al een tijdje en werden ook straal voorbijgelopen. Ook toen ze vroegen om aan te sluiten bij een andere tafel ( omdat er veel tafels van 6 pers zijn die niet volledig benut werden), werden zij genegeerd. Er waren nog plekjes vrij maar hier kon je enkel iets drinken, het had misschien een idee geweest om klanten hier eerst te laten drinken tot ze een tafel hadden. Blijkbaar te complex en dit in laag seizoen. Heel erg jammer om zo te moeten afdruipen.

Service was good, but the food was very below average. Nice presentation until you start eating. Polenta is made with some full fat fatty dairy product which is nothing authentic, just trying to be special. It’s now the second day with cramps and hiccups and feeling blown. Chicken was dry and didn’t feel like being made the same day. Unfortunately my first and last one there. This is a friendly comment hopefully leading for some improvements.

If you would like to taste traditional Slovenian food in Ljubljana then Slovenska Hiša is the right place to go. Their menu includes many dishes from local cuisine, as well as some history behind them. Food quality was fantastic, it's worth its price. The service is well organized and handles everything immediately, but I recommend to book a table because it's a very popular place and usually you need to wait in line for a bit long.

Wir sind an einem Sonntag Abend ohne Reservierung in das Restaurant. Nach 10 Minuten Wartezeit haben wir einen Tisch bekommen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre war sehr angenehm. Es gibt sehr leckere slowenische Gerichte. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden.

Didnt have food, i hear its nice. Just because we are not slovenian, it does not mean that we can't understand the staff gestures and non verbal communication. Otherwise, the staff was nice and pleasent but the feeling "behind the scenes" was wierd. But the place is beautiful.

I love eating in this restaurant. If you want to try some good, traditional Slovenian food, this is a place to be. The meal I always take and would recommend it to everyone is the Štruklji with wild garlic sauce. It is a starter, but you should definitely not skip it. For the main dish, they have many good options, and everything I have tried so far was very good, but my go-to meal is Žlikrofi (dumplings).
