To us this felt a bit like a tourist scam. We waited quite long for our mains. Next to us there was a table with loudly-screaming Americans, which were disturbing our meal. Then my Pasta with truffle sauce was unreasonably greasy and tasted quite bland..

Restaurant kindly squeezed us in on a Saturday night without a reservation. Service was the best we had in Ljubljana with a lovely friendly waitress. Would recommend the veal dumplings as best Slovenian food I had. Loved the decor of the restaurant too.

This is one of the most famous Slovenian restaurants in Ljubljana, so it's usually full. Think of booking in advance. The food is hearty and reminds of home cooking.

I made a reservation for lunch and was seated promptly during my time. The food and drinks were amazing and I highly recommend everyone try this place if you want to have authentic Slovenian food.

Impossible d'y manger pour un touriste. Nous avons essayé plusieurs fois d'affilé d'y manger. On nous demande une réservation :mais jamais de réponse aux nombreuses tentatives de réservation (Web, phone, Instagram). On nous dit que c'est complet deux jours à l'avance. Mais on nous dit aussi qu'en patientent au bar dans dix minutes une place se libère (ce qui est faux : des clients s'en vont et on ne nous fait pas signe pour prendre leur place). Les serveurs deviennent froids lorsqu'ils entendent parler une autre langue. Nous soupçonnons ce restaurant de ne vouloir que des locaux.

Food is a mixed bag. The fried half chicken was awful, super thick and hard coating. Service is also mixed, there is one terribly rude waiter and one very funny and friendly.
