This food is probably the best I've ever eaten. My god, this is the kind of food you dream about... I could not recommend this place more. I wonder if the chef has a star already because he definitely deserves one. Thank you so much, to all the amazing waiters and people in the kitchen. You made me realise what a culinar orgasm is.

Nettes Personal, Schneller Service, Wollte ein typisches slowenisches Gericht essen. Das bekommt man hier. Mal weg von Pizza und Döner. Nett draußen an den Tischen zu sitzen. Essen war gut Preis Leistung OK Ambiente Gut Gericht: Kranjska klobasa

I am Slovenian living abroad, and every time I come back to Ljubljana I go to Slovenska Hisa for a meal. It’s just great, the dishes are fresh and super tasty, not to mention authentic! They also have dishes from all the regions of Slovenia, so you can try a bit of everything. We had Slovenian pasta with truffles and beef steak, and it was great! The potatoes are amazing, with bits of rendered pig fats on top (don’t know the official translation lol, but it’s perfect with these potatoes)! Top notch place, always makes me feel like home! 🥹

Dieses Restaurant wurde uns von unserem Gastgeber empfohlen und ich kann dieses Restaurant auch weiterempfehlen. Wir sind aus Deutschland und wollten die slowenische Küche testen und es war sehr lecker. Ich hatte die traditionellen Dumplings mit Fleisch, das war wie eine Art Gulasch aber nicht scharf. Vermutlich waren die Dumplings selbstgemacht und es war sehr lecker. Mein Mann hatte eine Art Schnitzel mit einer Käsesosse und Kartoffeln und das war auch echt sehr lecker. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und haben trotzdem einen Platz bekommen.

Dinned at this restaurant on the recommendation of a local in order to taste Slovenian food. When I arrived they were full and told me to wait a bit to see if they could accomodate me. After a little wait, they were able to get me seated outside. They seem to have a large offering of Slovenian dishes, beer, wines and cocktails. I chose to try the beef tongue as a starter, followed by beef with some potatoes and a side of štruklji . All of the items were quite good, so were the wine recommendations that went with it. Service although they were busy wine pleasant. I would definitely go again!

I had the Beef Cheeks and the Kremšnita, which were delicious. The beef was incredibly tender, it put up zero resistance. Went with 3 friends, all ordered different meals, all very happy. Would also strongly recommend the Unfiltered Union beer, had a few of these. Note: we turned up without a reservation and were lucky to get a table.
