We went to taste some traditional Slovenian food and loved the atmosphere and the dishes. The portions were quite filling and a bit to much after a hot day. The staff was lovely and always up for a joke and conversation with the customers. Would recommend

I would give it one star if not for the beef soup which was not great, but alright I guess after adding some salt to it - pretty underseasoned. I also had a veal roulade stuffed with chicken liver. It was probably cooked a week ago, stored in a fridge and then reheated before serving. It had a consistency of rubber - chewy and tough. The flavor was bland to say the least. Does the chef know that there are salt, pepper, herbs and other spices? It was accompanied by some sort of potato mash which had some off putting ( rotten) aftertaste. I thought that a self respecting cook would never serve this kind of food to his-her family - this is embarrassing. It is puzzling that this place has such high rating. And yes - some waiters have an attitude. The place is poorly run - one waiter seated me and another came along and said that the table was reserved. I came here from Croatia and Montenegro and this is the worst meal I had on the trip. I bought a burek for 2 euro around the corner and it was far superior to this “high end” meal. I am going to stick to burek and chevapi from now on - no more “ traditional” Slovenian restaurants for me

Très bon restaurant typique slovène. Une grande terrasse agréable même si proche de la rue principale. Les plats sont copieux et devis relativement rapidement. Tarifs raisonnables.

Super restaurant de spécialités Slovène un peu plus a l'écart de la zone touristique de Ljubiana de l'hyper centre piéton. Un grand coup de coeur pour le Kremsnita dessert spécialité que l'on déguste autour du lac de Bled et qui est proposé revisité. Bref génial resto. Accueil au top par des gens supers accueillants et sympathiques. Ce restaurant est un incontournable de Ljubiana ! Bravo !

The food there is delicious and the stuff very friendly. So if you want to try some typical Slovenian food with a modern touch, this is the place to sit down (inside or outside - the atmosphere is cozy). They also offer varieties of Slovenian beers and wines, and sweet digestives to finish the meal the right way ;)

Zelo dobra pristna slovenska hrana, zanimiva prezentacija (starinske kovinske posode, košarice, karirasti serveti,...). Mogoče malo dražja hrana, a vredna.

Bel locale in centro a Lubiana. Arredamenti originali, tavoli all’interno e all’esterno. Abbiamo mangiato molto bene provando piatti della cucina locale. Vino accettabile. Personale molto gentile e rapido. Sicuramente consigliato per chi visita la città.

Really nice and cosy restaurant with great terrace. Food is traditional and tasty. But the staff is exceptional. We had the waiter who was sooo nice, polite and rare to see.
