The service was absolutely 10/10 the staff here are so committed to providing a beautiful dining experience they are so passionate and well fitted to the hospitality industry. The food is also wonderful we had our last meal before we left here as we wanted to save the best for last and the team did not disappoint. We were very happy with all the food and the service, keep up the great work guys.

It was an amazing night, from the beginning to the end, was just perfect. Gasper was the best waiter ever, he made us feel special and every recommendation was just accurate. We definitely will come back! Pd. Order the Slovenian plate as entrance Pd2. Let Gasper surprise you!

What particularly surprised me was the unique wine cellar—a vine basement where they actually keep vines. The temperature is perfectly regulated, ensuring that white wines stay crisp in winter and red wines reach their ideal maturity in summer. Špajza is undeniably a steakhouse at heart, offering an extensive menu featuring a variety of cuts. I highly recommend bringing friends if you plan to indulge in one of their massive steaks, each weighing around 1kg. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, eager to guide you through the menu and suggest excellent wine pairings. They have almost any wine you can wish for. Despite its focus on steak, the restaurant also offers a delightful variety of other dishes, ensuring there’s something for everyone. Be sure to save room for dessert—the chocolate muffin with ice cream vanilla, showcased in the picture below, is a must-try. It’s the perfect sweet finish to a hearty meal, making your visit to Špajza truly unforgettable.

A classic Slovenian restaurant with plenty of "modern" options, such as the surf'n'turf we tried. There are also some vegetarian meals, among the many meat and fish meals. The wine list is decent, mostly consisting of Slovenian wines. The service is very friendly and fast.

We ordered what the very kind waiter recommended: two kinds of home-made ravioli and a seafood pot with noodles, various mussels and shrimp in a white buzara sauce. And my oh my, was it amazing! Thoughtfully combined, without too much complications and amazingly executed. Home-made bread went great with the sauce. Would recommend to anyone craving some very good seafood or steak in a pleasant and cosy atmosphere. Filled with antiques and charmingly decorated as well. One of the best places in Ljubljana for sure. An added bonus, our giant labradoodle was more than welcome, got a blanket and water and they made sure we got a table where there was enough room for him to lay down and not disturb or be disturbed.

Wir waren mit 7 Personen dort und liessen uns vom Kellner beraten. Uns wurde dann auf 2 Platten Fleisch serviert, welches wirklìch köstlich war. Allerdings warteten wir fast 1.5 Stunden.... Die Beilagen waren nur spärlich vorhanden, viel zu wenig für 7 Personen. Die Bedienung war selten zu sehen. Die Rechnung war total überrissen. Preis-Leistung schlecht. Nie wieder.....

We came from Zagreb on sunday afternoon to eat and when we came in the waiter told us right away that they will be full in the next 15 min because of reservations so when we left I called them to make a reservation for 30 minutes after we left and they told us that they have space for us. Then we came to the reservation (restaurant was still empty) and asked why they lied to us that they are full and they had absolutely nothing to say. The waiter that turned us down in the first place was a blonde guy with beard. Cheers to you guy for turning away guests that pay your salary. Hope your boss sees this review.

Ukratko malo zalutali u restoran klinci htjeli burgere pojesti naručili piće i zbog klinaca promijenili restoran (klinci htjeli burgere) uslugu takvu dugo nismo sreli čista petica nisu nam zamjerili i na kraju se nismo osjećali neugodno za svaku pohvalu

veliko razočarenje,,, preskupo je za to sto je uzeli smo steak unisten je bio prepecen ko sto se vidi na slici prijatelj je uzeo biftek u balzamiku doslovno nejestivo predjelo je tu i tamo ok al sve skupa prosjek prema loše.....

Ristornate molto carino. Il personale con noi è stato gentile ma il servizio estremamente estremante lento, troppo considerando che il locale non era neanche pieno essendo piccolo. Ci è venuta voglia di prendere e andarcene. Ovviamente non ci hanno fatto neanche un po' di sconto per il disagio arrecato, tra l'altro il conto è stato salato. Tutto sommato la cucina buona, ma sicuramente non eccellente. Ci sono tante cose da migliorare, servizio in primis. Il Personale e Comunque gentile.
