Reading other online reviews, I was prepared for rooms with very low ceilings and not of a high quality. The building is an old building but neither I nor my travelling companion had problems with the height of the ceilings. The decor of the rooms was not modern but it was functional, clean and in a good state of repair. The beds were clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and everything functioned. Breakfasts are taken in the restraunt and are good. The range on offer is not like you would find in a hotel, but then this is not a high end hotel, so what was on offer was on par with the small venue that it was. Other comments I read prior to staying here mentioned that you required a car as it was 2km from the city centre. You don't need a car, as 2km is walkable and if you don't wish to walk there is a frequent bus service that stops outside. If you do come by car there is very limited parking at the venue and limited on street parking Overall, I would recommend staying at this venue

4 dagen verbleven, beetje (ruimte)overlast van een verbouwing bij een openbaar buurgebouw, daardoor wat puzzelen met het parkeren maar prima te regelen, en binnen niets van te merken, het is vooral vervelend voor het hotel en restaurant qua terrasgrootte.|De kamers hebben airco, ze zijn klein maar netjes en schoon met eigen badkamer met toilet, het is er lekker rustig. |De gastheer is super aardig en behulpzaam, ook een prima ober die ons de mooie lokale bieren en gerechten serveerde, erg lekker gegeten! |Ontbijt niet erg uitgebreid maar met een goed gebakken omelet erbij best voldoende. |Het ligt 2,3 km. (25 min.) lopen van het centrum maar een taxi kan ook voor pakweg €6! Dus een betaalbare en prima plek voor een aantal dagen Ljubljana verkenning!

The rooms had low ceilings and you hit your head on them. I am 168cm so if you are tall don't bother. The parking is a nightmare. The restaurant is popular because of the Slovenian food. If you park your car you might not be able to get out. You will leave it on the street. The breakfast is poor quality with packaged cereals and white bread and no fruit. It mas be supposedly 3 star, but it is more loke 2.5 or 2

The restaurant is amazing. The atmosphere and people, working hereditary were very pleasant. The food was so tasty, the octopus and meat were really good and tender. The wine was delicious. The hotel room was comfortable enough and pet friendly. Thank you!
