The portions are large and I think that is the appeal for many of the patrons. Tasty, however, you won’t be wowed by the meals, at least we weren’t. The service is friendly, along with being quick. The music could be better (just prosaic pop and rock is playing). We went twice on our brief stay in the area, so it’s worth a visit.

Es fehlt mir schwer etwas dazu zu schreiben. Die Bedingung ist sehr freundlich, Ambiente ist perfekt, sauber und schick. Aber das Essen... es war nicht schlecht. Ging schnell und so wie ich es bestellt habe. Garnellen Suppe war frisch und sah gut aus. Risotto war bissfest aber nicht krümmelig, was gut ist. Salat war frisch zubereitet. Aber... irgendwie fad, es fehlte echt etwas, ein Hauch von etwas - damit ich sagen kann - ist perfekt. Weiss nicht was. Sehr gut war gebackene Paprika, eine Art Antipasti, kalt. Die Speisen waren wenig gesalzen, was gut ist, man schmeck das Essen besser. Hausschnapps ist fruchtig und gut. Meine Frau hatte Pleskavice und Pommes - ihr hat es geschmeckt. Mein Freund hatte Cevapcici mit Pommes - war auch gut. Fleisch war leicht gummiartig, wie es sein soll. "Kajmak" Käse - eine Art Frischkäse mit einem Buttergeschmak mit Weissbrot ist sehr gut. Ich habe 5 Sterne gegeben, da es möglicherweise einfach mir anderes schmeckt, wie ich es gewohnt bin. Die manche Bewertungen waren sehr negativ, so kann ich es nicht bestättigen. Mittleres Preis Niveau.

Vždycky když jsme v Portoroži jdeme tam! Skvělé jídlo, obsluha no prostě všechno. Dokonce jsme se s panem vrchním skamarádili a je moc milí a je tu každou noc. Velice moc doporučuji!!!!

Nourriture passable pour le prix Le « patron » qui prend les commandes et fait payé s’est montré particulièrement désagréable et arrogant tout au long de notre présence. Le pain que nous n’avons même pas demandé ni consommé a été facturé 4€! Tout comme les quelques pauvres petites sauces mayo et ketchup. Service peu organisé car il faut demander à 2 ou 3 serveurs avant d’obtenir quelque chose. Bref, passez votre chemin.

Vorweg, das Essen war ausgezeichnet, und preislich absolut in Ordnung. Nun zu dem Punkt, der mich gestört hat, wir hatten das Essen gerade beendet, und ich ein 2. Bier bestellt gehabt, wo ich kurz genippt hatte. Kam ein Kellner und legte die Rechnung auf den Tisch, mir war bewusst dass viel los ist. Man hätte auch fragen können, ob man die Rechnung bringen darf. Trinkgeld wurde dennoch mit 15% gegeben, und nett darauf hingewiesen, dass es eine Unart ist, die Rechnung so zu legen. Es kam nicht einmal eine Entschuldigung. Wir hatten das Lokal, getestet für eine Reservierung am nächsten Tag, allerdings haben wir uns für ein anderes entschieden.

DO NOT EAT HERE!! Me and my friend casually decided to grab something to eat before the beach. This restaurant used to be the best all over the Slovenian coast and I really do not know what happened. The waiters and all, the restaurant itself was okay nothing special, half empty beacuse it was very hot. I believe the athmosohere in the evening is very pleasant. BUT, the food : BE VERY CAUTIOUS WITH THE FOOD, we weren’t so hungry and it was very hot so we decided to only take some starters. It was beef and fish carpaccio for us, two portions of fish for each and one beef, that we split. When i tell you, i came home at around 8pm and that is when it all started, the nausea, vomiting, diarrhea. I ran to the ER, where they told it was probably the Sallmonella virus, you usually get the one by eating raw, dirty, contaminated foods, especially meat. I did not realize at the moment, the fish was very cold and weird structure so it was probably frozen and old, i didn’t mind at the moment because it tasted well. My friend also got diarrhea but it is mild. I have been in a very bad condition ever since, yesterday evening. If the owner of the restaurant, or anyone in charge reads this, I just want to warn you to keep the kitchen and the food very clean, beacause I am defenitely calling for restaurant inspection. It is such a shame, this used to be a very good restaurant. Btw the bill for 3 carpaccios and 2 ice teas was near 60€.

Naročila sva file pohanega brancina, ki je bil hladen in po okusu identičen predpripravljeni ribi, katero lahko kdorkoli kupi v vsakršni trgovini ter bolognese špagete, ki so bili prav tako za nič (omaka je bila brez okusa, le kup paradižnikove mezge. Po vrhu pa sva med hrano zasledila tudi majhen kamenček in las). Videz restavracije in cena hrane nista v skladu s kvaliteto. Najino doživetje v tej restavraciji, bi ocenil z manj kot ena če bi bilo to mogoče, zato restavracije res ne priporočam.

Ristorante centrale di Portorose con una vasta scelta di piatti. Pesce e carne ottimi specialmente alla griglia. Possibilità di parcheggiare nel loro parcheggio sul lato opposto della strada, basta chiedere di farsi aprire la sbarra nell'eventualità (non rara) che l'addetto non sia in zona.

Leider war unser Besuch in diesem Restaurant eine absolute Enttäuschung. Von Anfang an hat sich alles in die Länge gezogen – Als dann auch noch das falsche Wasser an den Tisch gebracht wurde und wir höflich darauf hinwiesen, dass wir das richtige Wasser erhalten möchten, reagierte das Personal gereizt und unprofessionell. Besonders befremdlich war die Regelung, dass nur der Chef persönlich Bestellungen entgegennimmt und man auch nur bei ihm zahlen darf. Da alles so lange dauerte und die Art und Weise, wie sich der Chef verhielt, äußerst unangenehm war, zog sich der gesamte Prozess noch mehr in die Länge. Als ich schließlich zahlen wollte, wurde ich von ihm auf sehr unhöfliche Weise gefragt, ob es in der Schweiz kein Trinkgeld gäbe – eine absolute Frechheit in meinen Augen. Ich entgegnete, dass Trinkgeld für guten und freundlichen Service gegeben wird, woraufhin er meinte, er habe mir sogar das Wasser umgetauscht. Für mich war diese ganze Situation mehr als entsetzlich, sodass ich das Restaurant nur noch verlassen wollte. Beim Hinausgehen wurde ich vom Chef auch noch regelrecht aus dem Lokal gescheucht. Für mich steht fest: Dieses Restaurant werde ich nie wieder betreten. Unhöflichkeit und Respektlosigkeit gegenüber den Gästen sind hier offensichtlich an der Tagesordnung.

Alles war frisch und lecker die Bedienung freundlich das Ambiente gemütlich. Kann man bedenkenlos empfehlen, hier sollte für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei sein.
