The restaurant is located on top of the hill, hence an amazing view of the town below. Ambient is amazing. It is one of those elegant and romantic places that give you hommie feeling. Parking is available in front of the restaurant. Also they have chargers for EV (Tesla chargers and normal ones for the other cars). Staff is really friendly and nice, but still professional. Every dish came with a story and explanation, the same with the wine. They also have rooms and glamping houses.

Very hilly getting here on a bike but worth the views of so many wonderful vineyards and orchards neighboring this beautiful boutique hotel, a small oasis surrounded by peaceful nature. ||The reception staff didn’t speak much English the afternoon I arrived but the next morning’s staff person did. When she saw I was looking at some of the literature about the region and couldn’t find any in English, she went to the back office and found some for me. ||I could see vine covered hills dotted with rose bushes, the infinity swimming pool, a bit of fog in the valley below, and a colorful sunset from my room. While hanging some clothes on the outside balcony, I observed a delivery person bring in a box of figs the size of fists – oh the quality of that produce, and an older lady dressed in rubber boots and a hand-knitted hat, singing to herself as she trimmed plants and swept the driveway. Everything peaceful, calm, and serene.||I encountered my first rain, actually a downpour, through the mountainous gravel roads on this 6th day of biking in Slovenia. I was absolutely drenched and needed to dry some clothes and take a shower. ||For no apparent reason, the shower stopped working (without me changing any of its settings) after I had shampoo in my hair. The pressure went to absolutely nothing, not even a drip. I waited for a while but it didn’t come back so I used the sink and a glass to rinse my hair as much as I could, dried myself, then got dressed. About 15 minutes later, as I was going out of my room, the shower suddenly came back on bursting with a high stream of water. Good thing I was still there to turn it off or it would’ve probably been on the whole time I was at dinner, possibly creating a flood. Otherwise, the room was spotless and well equipped. (Hence why I took a star away)||They offer a good buffet breakfast. The staff was a little late cooking the fresh eggs on-demand so I didn’t have any as I had most of my breakfast eaten already. ||They have e-bikes for rent – helpful in this hilly landscape.||There isn’t much to do around here but to swim, eat, hike the nearby hills and see all the vineyards, the old Trappist Monk Winery, and old farms. ||Great place for needed R&R. |

Za posebno priložnost sva bila s partnerko na večerji, sama lokacija (kljub slabemu vremenu) je zelo lepa, z lepo okolico s pogledom na okoliške vinograde. Restavracija znotraj prav tako lepa, osebje prijazno z veliko znanja o postreženih obrokih in okoliškem vinu. Sama hrana je bila super, vse jedi so bile zelo okusne (okusi sestavin se zelo dobro povezujejo med seboj) - odlično, mogoče bi si osebjo želel nekoliko večjo porcijo vsaj kar se tiče glavne jedi, v primerjavi z drugimi restavracijami tega nivoja. Edino pripombo imam glede uporabe bona SelectBox Dobra miza, v vrednosti 64,90 €, bila sva ravno v tednu ko je potekal Teden restavracij, osebje ob rezervaciji je bilo s tem seznanjeno, ob prihodu pa rezervacija ni bila zapisana (prosta miza je bila kljub temu na voljo), sam meni za teden restavracij je znašal 25 € na osebo, zato menim, da bi za preostanek (14,90 €) lahko vključili vsaj pijačo. 🙂
