Overall, we are happy with the rental experience. Staff was friendly, gave us recommendations around the city. We extended the car for a day but they even said it is not necessary. Just be aware that the parking lot is not near the office. You need to check the car in and out without the staff. Be sure to take pictures when you take the car and when you drop off the car just in case. We didn’t have any problems with the deposit, but just in general a good practice.

Im very disappointed by their incompetence. Me and my friends wanted to rent a car in Mallorca, Spain. So we came here, looked for a car, took it. Everything went perfect for a fact that people working there can’t even print a receipt, so i had to go to a bank to pay it. When we came to Mallorca, tired and exhausted, we came to a pleasant surprise when an agency couldn’t give us a car, because we have to pay a f****ng 90 more euros, coz we are young drivers in Spain (until 25), but not in Slovenia(21). So yeah we paid and never got out money back. Very pleasant agency if you want problems on your trip☺️😵

At some point during our driving, we got a flat tire due to a nail in our tire. I want to stress that this was not due to misuse, but rather something unavoidable that sometimes happens during normal use. We changed to the spare tire and, following instructions on the web, called Europcar. The Europcar representative instructed us to go to a specific garage to get the punctured tire repaired. The representative did not mention that we would be paying for the repair of the punctured tire. I naively assumed Europcar would pay as it seems like standard wear and tear on the car. A few days later, when we returned the car, we were surprised to be charged 140 EUR for the tire repair. This is 4 times more expensive than standard costs to fix a flat tire! This is unfair for two reasons. First, much of the cost was an "administration fee", presumably for making a single phone call to the garage to arrange the time for the repair. This seems incredibly excessive. Second, we were not given any choice of which garage to use. If we are paying the bill, we should be able to choose the garage to get a competitive rate. Additionally, when we returned the car, we were accused of causing a scratch on the car and were going to be charged for the cost of repairing it. After we had a look, we found that it was dirt that could be cleaned off by hand. Moreover, the photos we took when we received the car showed that it was present at the start of our rental! The representative did not apologize for almost mistakenly charging us. I have been a regular Europcar customer for many years and this experience makes me question this decision. I will certainly not be renting from the downtown Ljubljana Europcar location again. It also makes me think that, if our rental car ever sustains damage again, we should not inform Europcar, but just manage the repairs ourselves.

Cuidado!!!! Son unos estafadores de cuidado se quedan con el dinero del depósito y te añaden cargos extras que en mi caso fue de un roce de contacto de puerta que la “reparacion” son 90€ que además ese roce el coche ya venia con el, revisen bien cuando vayan a alquilar un coche antes de firmar nada. Europcar es una empresa de estafadores ya he visto reseñas iguales a mi caso de toda europa. Una verguenza.

I returned the car rented from them at their parking and everything was nice. The car was in the same condition as I took one week before, without scratches. Next day, I receive the invoice and I am surprised to see a charge of 541.5 EURO for a "Scratched (Rear Right Bumper)". The check was not made in my presence, they checked the car later. They made a picture where you don't see any scratch and you don't understand anything. I tried to discuss with them, to clarify the problem, but they ignore my emails/phone calls for one month. Terrible experience, I was renting from Europcar for many many years without problems, but this episode left me speechless. They basically took 500 EURO from me without explanation.

The van that I rented was ok, but I'm giving them 1/5 because of the office. Very unprofessional people. They told me that I'll get my deposit money back in day or two. After a week, money was still not transfered so I called them. A guy told me that he's going to check with financial department and that he's going to call me back. He never did. So after few more days I called again. This time they didn't want to answer to my calls. After 15 minutes a guy answered and told me that I should call financial department by myself!!!? I called them, but nobody answers that number. Really disappointing.

Only 3/5 mainly because of the really bad communication in this agency : they tell you to pick the car by yourself after the paperwork (in a big dusty parking near the bus station) and no one from Europcar is there to do the check-in with you. They just gave us a paper in slovenian with pictures in black in white of the car, so you could not tell where the existing damages were exactly on the car. We saw scratches on the car that were not on the paper so we had to go back to the agency and ask for an Europcar employee to come with us and take the additional pictures. We were no even sure he added them on the file. So we lost a lot of time during the check-in, they didn't really seem to care (whereas there is a lot of money at stake for us as customers). Otherwise the car was ok during our trip and the check-out was quick at the end. Will not rent with this agency again anyway, not very professional and too stressful for the customer.

After handing the car back I was told I would have to pay an excessive cleaning charge. Make your own mind up whether the attached photos that they sent me justify an extra 35Eur? They attached my rental agreement which was in Slovenian so not much use for me! I asked them to review the charge and they didn't respond.

WARNING! Do not go to this car rental company under any circumstances! Everything was ok at the beginning, then 2 after returning the cars, the 800 € deposit was suddenly debited from my account. I took several photos of the car when I picked it up and when I returned it and could not find any damage. There was no reply to my e-mails to Goldcar and Europcar (5 e-mails have now been written for over a week). There is no damage report, no invoice and no information to why the money was debited from my account. As soon as I am back in Germany, I will get my lawyer involved. Very poor customer service! WARNUNG! Geht auf keinen Fall zu dieser Autovermietung! Alles ok am Anfang, dann wurden mir 2 Tage nach Rückgabe der Autos auf einmal die 800 € Deposit abgebucht. Ich hatte bei Abholung und bei Rückgabe mehrere Fotos von dem Auto gemacht und konnte keinerlei Schäden feststellen. Auf meine E-Mails an Goldcar und Europcar wird nicht geantwortet (mittlerweile 5 E-Mails seit über einer Woche geschrieben). Es gibt keinerlei Schadenreport, Rechnung und Information, warum mir das Geld abgebucht wurde. Sobald ich wieder in Deutschland bin, werde ich meinen Anwalt einschalten. Unterirdischer Kundenservice!

J'ai eu une très bonne expérience, je vous conseille de prendre l'assurance tous risques pour éviter tout problème, surtout que le véhicule n'a pas été donner n'y rendu avec un membre de l'agence (ce qui empêche toute vérification de celui-ci). Le véhicule que nous avons eu, une Clio GT orange était très propre, ce qui a vraiment rendu la conduite agréable. Le personnel de l'agence était très agréable et communiquer en anglais se faisait facilement avec eux. Penser juste à rajouter vous même l'essence pour éviter de payer un coup supplémentaire.

Nous avions des appréhensions quant à la location d'une voiture auprès de cette agence qui avait reçu plusieurs avis négatifs. Toutefois, notre expérience s'est avérée très positive. Nous avons reçu la voiture à l'heure convenue et avons payé 90€ pour une journée, incluant l'essence et l'assurance, malgré notre âge de moins de 21 ans. Il est important de noter que toutes les voitures ont un abonnement péage, ce qui permet d'emprunter l'autoroute à moindre coût. Cependant, je recommande plutôt d'emprunter les petites routes, plus pittoresques. De plus, la possibilité de rendre la voiture même après la fermeture de l'agence est très appréciable. Le seul bémol est que nous avons eu l'impression que le prix de l'essence était un peu gonflé.

전화를 통해 연장한 렌트예약을 확인하러 갔을때 독일에서 렌트한 것이라 시스템이 달라 슬로베니아에서 확인이 불가능했습니다. 그러나 그녀는 전화와 이메일 등 여러 수단을 통해 독일에 확인을 시도해주었고, 내가 메일을 통해 궁금한 사항을 받아볼 수 있도록 도와주었습니다.

Just rubbish. They send you to the wrong place with all your luggage, then you have to walk across town to their actual office. The car we got had a dead key fob so we couldn’t lock it or open it half the time (also meant the engine wouldn’t always start). Zero apology for the poor service when we returned it either.
