I was in town for business and tried to build some cycling around the trip. From first inquiry to the end this has been as spectacularly good experience. Tadej from Cycling United LJ was always there to answer my several questions regarding gear and logistics. The bike had been delivered to my Hotel already up front so that I was able to do a nice ride out into the hilly east of Ljubljana. The bike, a Gusto aero carbon roadbike with 105 di2 and disc brakes was well maintained and already equipped with a mini pump and some saddlebag containing a spare tube, a minitool and such. With great pleasure I can say that the gusto is a racy springy bike, that is totally perfect also for climbing . The tires were some rather narrow ones which can arguably a little wider to enhance comfort a little bit. Beyond that it’s been a great time and I’m looking forward to come back. Thanks again Tadej and Cycling United for the spot on service!

Rented for one day and they were excellent! Would definitely use again to explore more of the Julian Alps, highly recommend the gentle climb to Jezerska where there is good food and coffee by the lake.

I just returned from an amazing self-guided cycling trip to Slovenia. The team at Cycling United was fantastic. They set me up with a high-end carbon road bike (an ex-pro's bike, far better than what you'd expect to have access to as a rental), and a selection of routes based on my criteria. Their service was excellent - they dropped the bike off and picked it up, and made a quick service trip to me when I tweaked something on the bike. This was my first biking trip to Slovenia and so glad I worked with these guys - the local knowledge, quality equipment and friendly team here helped make my trip a success.

If I could give these guys 6 stars I would. Vlado was absolutely fantastic in planning a four day cycling trip through Slovenia for my wife and I. He also did so with only 3 days’ notice! He did route planning (including providing gpx files), airport transfers, moved our luggage between hotels and obviously provided very decent gravel bikes for our trip. He was always very keen to help us out where he could, always responded quickly and is just a brilliant guy. I’d been trying to get a similar trip planned via a UK-based operator, and they proved useless. In the end, going direct to the locals gave us much better local knowledge, much better service and much better value for money! I can’t fault these guys and will be using them again.

Highly recommend!! Just finished a dream cycling adventure through Slovenia and Cycling United Ljubljana provided me with a great road bike and incredible customer service. Vlado was extremely pleasant to work with and even checked in with me throughout my trip. I needed some extra tubes and he delivered them directly to my hotel. The bike pick up and drop off in Ljubljana was super easy. Vlado is a super cool guy, too, who loves cycling and is an excellent resource from the region! 10/10 would rent a bike again from Vlado and Cycling United Ljubljana! Cheers!

We had great service and experience with Cycling United Ljubljana! Decided on them because they had the kind of bikes we wanted. We had 2 gravel bikes for 2 days with accessories. CUL was really responsive and supported us extremely well all the way, from delivering the bikes to our lodgings to sharing route recommendations, which was great since we were in Slovenia for the first time. Totally worth the money, don't really know what could have gone better in our experience. Big thanks to the Tadej for great service!

I had a one week vacation in Ljubljana and as an avid cyclist wanted to do some gravel riding. Cycling United answered quickly to my rental request and were super friendly and helpful throughout the process. All my requests regarding eg. specific pedals were fullfilled without any issues. The gravel bike I rented was in top condition and was delivered to my accommodation just as agreed. I have rented a road bike from Cycling United and they have far exceeded my expectations. Vlado brought to me the bike to the train station on Sunday evening, totally outside opening hours. He provided advice on cycling trips around Bovec and an amazing bike, perfect fit to me. At the end of my stay we said good bye after a friendly coffee and a brief video call with fresh champion Luka Mezgec, just for some extra inspiration:).

Great bike, and got an amazing ride recommendation up to Pance! They were also very friendly and flexible as I had arrived slightly after closing to return my bike. I hope I will get a chance to return!
