Great bike for a really good price. We rented a bike with panniers to go to Triglav national Park for 7 days. The bike was perfect for this kind of terrain and we really enjoyed our trip!

Nomad2000 was great to work with from the planning stage to the final drop off. They went above and beyond to make sure our special tour went smoothly. The bikes were in great shape and they took the time to go over all the mechanics before we left. Quiet, smooth pedaling on a 250 mile loop. Nomad2000 is top notch and I’d trust them again in a heartbeat. They made our 25 year anniversary tour possible.

I rented a bike for a week, very friendly service, good price and bike in good conditions (Giant) perfect for a road trip with some gravel country roads (to Koper), everything was set and ready as I wished when I arrived. Not hard to find at all, it is exactly where it says it is, two different bus stops are close by. They do indeed have a kitchen, no one threatened me with a knife though... Thank you ;)

Highly disappointed… in Ljubljana for work and have free time to explore. I ride trails, Slovenia has some great ones, so looked to book a decent mountain bike. Now, I don’t do jumps, drops etc-just wanted to get out of the city. They indicate their giant (brand) bike was great for trail riding so seemed like a good match (I know my bikes, know my ability). The only trails I found initially were golovec bike park which appears to have a few easier trails but also some difficult trails.. They request info on what trails you are riding, so I responded with the only one I found, golovec, where I hoped to find some trails that matched my beginner/intermediate abilities. They then turned me down for a rental because they “didn’t want to damage their bike”. After I asked if there were other trails i could go to (again referencing I don’t do jumps etc, not to mention I’m an American with no medical coverage in Slovenia so really didn’t want to do anything crazy out there) I was told there were other trails but they couldn’t trust where I’d take it now (owners decision, nothing else they could do). My takeaway… if you are in the business of renting bikes rent them. Put a clause in your contracts that damages to bike while at golovec are not covered. Done. I just wanted to explore this great area. Whether you are renting for a stroll through the city or something else, know this business does not trust you and puts “damage to their bike” before you. Seeing response to other negative reviews, I ask if there is a reply from the owner, post the entire email exchange between us instead of refuting what I’ve written.

If we get a feeling from our conversation with the customer, that he will be needing a bike for riding terrains which exceed the purpose of our XC hardtail mountain bikes we rather instruct them to rent a bike at other local bike shops, which have bikes more suitable for their needs – as we have done. We believe you will get much more enjoyment from riding trails with a bike, more suitable for said activities. We hope you found a suitable bike and enjoyed riding Golovec trails. We spontaneously rented two Trekking bikes at a very affortable price. The staff was very friendly and patient with us as tourist with little knowledge about bikes. 🤭 The place might be difficult to find but we took it as part of the adventure

Friendly at first, but you get to know them when something goes wrong. Equipment (3 years old) failed within 1 hour. I had to find my own way back to their office, pay for the rental AND pay for the broken outer tire. As you can see on the picture it is an old, dried out tire. It’s already annoying for me that the bike breaks down, but to let your customer pay for your faulty bike is next level nonsense. A good example of how to lose customers in 1 day.

Thank you Hugo for your review. Your claim that the tire is worn out is just blatantly inaccurate. When the tyre is fully pumped there aren't any visible cracks in the rubber of the tyre (which appear over time due to the effects of sun exposure and usage), nor are there any other marks on the side of the tyre which would suggest heavy use and decay, with the exception of the one that is right next to the hole that has been made. The most likely scenario is that the side of the tyre rubbed against some rock or other sharp object. I understand that you are displeased as you lost a day of biking, but it would be the same if the bike was yours. It was simply bad luck. The charge for the tire was minimum we could make– we didn't charge you any additional costs we have besides the material – people who will order the tire, change the tire and clean the dirty bike you returned. Additionally I offered you a free of charge rental for the next time. I also offered that you buy the tire yourself, if you think that the charge is excessive and unreasonable. I don't think there was more we could have done on our part. You on the other hand are trying to blackmail us with a negative review – which we don’t tolerate.

We rented today spontanously two bikes to go to the ljubljansko barje. The tourist information recomended us this place. The crew was very nice, they offered us selfmade tea while we were waiting. The bikes were perfect. Thank you!

A bit hard to find, because it looks to be in the backgarden of someone’s home, but when you’ve found it it’s really good! They have amazing mountainbikes (as good as new) and they are very helpfull. They showed us a few routes we could do, which was nice. The price is very affordable.

We rented bikes for weekend trip to Koper. Whole equipment was in perfect condition and the ride was pure joy. Nomad 2000 has super nice service so rental went smooth and easy. Highly recommended !!!!

Nomad (Eva) was exceptionally clear with the explanation and information provided. They were flexible with arranging e-bikes also. We rented 10 bikes for the whole day. Nomad gave us one extra bike free of charge just in case. They provided helmets, locks for the bikes, and two sets of tools with spare tires for convenience. Nomad was able to match the right bike size for each rider. They played fair upon return, called us for feedback. Very friendly, flexible and energetic team. Recommended. Robert for Cosylab

I definitly can highly recommend this rental shop. We got 3 propper Mountainbikes for one day going to the St. Jakob church. Unfortunatly there was a problem with the gear of one of our bikes. We just gave her a call and not even 30 minutes later they brought us a new bike to a small town in the mountains. We really enjoyed this experience and would definetly do it again with the Nomad2000.
