If you want to ask for bakery products as a foreigner, you better speak Slovene or go back to your home country. I wanted to buy a bottle of wine that was supposed to have a discount, then it turned out at the self-service desk that I needed to pay almost one euro more, so I wanted to take it back, but the shop assistant did not let me and wanted to force me to buy it. Then I took it back and was walking back to buy beers, and she started creeping inside my bag and taking the beers dorectly from my hands and treated me like a thief or something and was suspicious that I had changed my mind and did not want the buy it finally. I think if I don't agree with the price of something I have the right as a customer to return it before buying it. I will not be cheated by cheap tricks.

A small grocery shop in the centre of Maribor. You can get all the basic necessities here and the prices do not differ from bigger shopping malls. They always have food to go prepared and a good choice of cooled drinks for those hot days.
