Central square in Ljubljana. By the river Ljubljanica, next to Triple Bridge Ljubljana. Around is too many good places for visit. From Prešeren Square you can see Ljubljana Castle, and could go by car, on foot or by funicular. By the river Ljubljanica are many restaurants, caffe bars, dessert stores, pizzerias, and mostly there are many good places for food, drink and social life. On the river Ljubljanica is organized boats for tourist routes. From Prešeren Square you can walk to big Tivoli park, around 15 min on foot. Or to visit Central Market in Ljubljana. There are few parkings near Square.

Ist schon eine Zeit lang her. Der Prešerenplatz ist DER Platz in Ljubljana. Benannt nach dem Slowenischen Nationaldichter France Prešeren, von dem auch hier eine sehr große Statue steht. Früher hieß dieser Platz Marienplatz, benannt nach der Mariä-Verkündigung-Kirche, die diesen Platz beherrscht.
